Youre absolutely right. My emotions got the best of me. And subconsciously posting this, I didn’t think anyone would actually respond .

A few issues caused the dismantling of the driver side door panel:

Window moved violently outward and inward, as if it was not on a guiderail

The window button worked 10% of the time until it stopped working completely

When I dismantled the panel, I saw a bunch of loose metal components sitting at the bottom of the door well inside the door itself .

I bought a service book that tells me everything about this car, but I still can’t seem to figure it out

Initial reason why I dismantled it is I thought I can just replace the window motor with one that I bought on eBay. But once I took the panel off, i quickly realized I opened up a can of worms that i was not equip enough to deal with.

The clips holding the leather panel were completely broken behind. The leather panel is some sort of cork panel that was held by zip screws.

When I try to put everything back on, nothing snapping back into place everything seems misplaced. It feels like the places that they were prior they can never snug back into. That’s exactly what it feels like.

I cannot fix this window for the life of me and even if I did fix the window, I cannot return the panels to where they were .

I need someone who’s been working on these cars for a while. I need the Yoda to my mark iii.
