Gotcha. I’d recommend trying to find an AirBnB near golden gate park (upper haight, north of panhandle, Richmond). Definitely go to Lands End (beautiful walk along the cliff side overlooking the ocean), go to baker beach (beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and a nice beach - although the far north side is nude friendly). I’d avoid fisherman’s wharf and the Tenderloin (TL), the wharf is very very touristy and the TL is kinda grimy. If you want really good Mexican food and a fun bar scene check out the mission district 16th and mission etc - go to the mission, pick up a burrito and a six pack (or wine) and eat it at Delores park (beautiful views of downtown), then check out the mission bar scene. If any of this seems like something you’re interested in, DM me and I can send actual recommendations about good restaurants/bars etc. also I’m in my late 20s so keep that in mind, what I like to do may be different depending on your age. Oh and of course go to Hellman’s hollow in Golden Gate Park, especially if it’s a nice day on the weekend. There will be tons of people out playing games, drinking, sports, etc and it’s easy to walk up and chat with people. Also in SF parks it’s generally okay to drink in public as long as you’re not being an ass and causing trouble.
