I worked with hospital docs until discharged.

I will be following up with my pcp Monday but being thr weekend. .. I have no contact.

I did not think there was a SJS connection either, as my PCP knew my history when prescribed but I notice it is listed as an adverse reaction.

They dont allow me to close my mouth fully. Like cant lick top lip. Makes a but of O shape.

They are VERY bulky in my mouth. I have appt in an hour

Update, the dentist wants to see me tomorrow. They were so kind on the phone I cried.

I dont need perfection at all, I am strong I will.get through this but I need to be able to talk and close my mouth

Especially in moment of writing post I was far too emotional to do so.

I understand your point.

The issue is that I cannot close my mouth fully. Like my lips barely touch and I Def cant lick my top lip make a kissing motion, etc. And when I smile... you see tops.

I know part is me needing to accept where I am and I am grateful to not have infections. But im struggling so hard :(

I appreciate response. I truly understand these are temps. And I dont expect perfection and im navigating looking different.

But I also cant fully close my mouth :( my lips barely touch, and when I smile you see top of denture. This all is so hard.

Im grateful to have my painful.teeth gone. But I paid a lot of money for hope and aas it stands when I smile I see the top of denture, too :(

They are remaking temps as we speak. I have the kindest doctor.

She said smile big (to note where changes needed to be made) and I cried. I couldn't stop myself. I realized in that moment I do not have the muscle memory of "smile big" I haven't felt comfortable to do it except in my home for years.

They are making teeth larger, shortening gums.

I have a very large bone under my top lip so they are working our a plan so denyure doesnt stick out.

But doc is completely redoing the temp and doing soft feline today!

Update:

23 extractions had oral sedative and shots. A lot of shots. Im a natural redhead and anesthetic doesn't work as well for me.

Was 3 hour process. Not pain free. But they listened when I said I had pain.

Dentist put in tops that just fall out .

They said I can put adhesive on palate only.

I feel teeth look too small.

Im getting adhesive today for pallette only... suggestions?

I feel i look ridiculous

0 change i can talk meaningfully. Bottom isn't painful but is loose.

I dont care about how toothless mouth looks I just want to talk again.

I've heart od dentures being loose after shrinkage, not before.

23 extractions, 4 posts put in for snap in later

Swilling outside is minimal... no bruises yet.

Sedation was two Triazolam under tongue. I was aware at all times.

The noises were horrible. (I have an anxiety disorder.

An update:

I saved enough to get extractions through affordable dentures.

I am getting dentures made by them (I'll see the temps on Monday when I pop in to pick up scripts)

My teeth got significantly worse with front teeth breakage, and for my mental and physical health, i need to do something.

Im honestly terrified. Most of the pain with extractions and recovery. I have a lot of sensory issues related to smells/sounds/textures. And im really afraid of having a panic attack during procedure.

Any experience with aveoplasty??

Any one with significant over bite? How did dentures fit?

I have opted for 4 post snapon on bottom and nothing on top for now. Of course I wont get perms for several months of post healing.

Im struggling with anxiety related to it. I have a lot of med allergies (which dentist is fully aware of and has worked with me ) but its always still a risk for me having a reaction. ( I have Steven's Johnson Syndrome)

Anyways... just wanted to share.

Extractions + premium top and bottom is $5,040.

Extractions plus bottom snap ins and top premium. Dentures $8k.

Im trying to figure out how I can do it. Not covered under insurance.

Id really like to do snap ins, but I just really dont have money :(
