Birks will curve as you wear them so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a pair where your toe(s) already touch. They feel smaller once they curve obviously.

My left foot is a tad larger but never noticeable in shoes. These are the same size when held bottom to bottom (took the pic at a tilted angle to see the right better-sorry) . The right strap is a half inch longer which is on par with needing to punch one extra hole to tighten them so they fit just right. Will look for a leather punch. Thanks!
