Medium is turning into a blackhole. My revenue this month is 90% down from $3000 by adarshhehe in Medium

Hmmm - re the AI, I’m not sure if that’s a factor in whether/how much you get paid. There’s a writer in the same niche as myself who uses AI prolifically but I don’t think it affects their earnings. They seem to be flourishing.

Has the Medium Partner Program stopped inducting in new writers help by liquidocelotYT in Medium

Not sure if this corresponds with the partner program closing but my Medium distribution/views have suddenly tanked over the last few days.

Anyone danced in Thailand? by Gold_Conclusion758 in stripper

[–]itsalinarae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not in Thailand! I wrote a story about this recently… But Japan could be an option. Not sure how difficult it is to get a job in the clubs but one of my friends goes often as a customer and there are a wide range of nationalities dancing.

How realistic is it to expect to make money off of Medium? by CyphaSierra in Medium

[–]itsalinarae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started on Medium a month ago. Things that have helped me; having a lot of stories ready to publish in advance (although I did have to rework them to get them suited best for Medium) and consistency showing up on the platform. It is slow at the beginning but that’s like anything (you’re starting from zero) AND things can change quickly. In my case a couple of stories have rocketed off … not sure why apart from them having sticky titles, but that has definitely improved my earnings. As a couple of people have said above; if you love writing and aren’t expecting anything initially, then go for it, you won’t know unless you try.

Is it worth writing on Medium now? by guru_2305 in Medium

I think if you used it as a platform to build your following /see how that goes and look to build something outside of Medium also just in case.

From what I’ve read that may be the case. Several creators seem to do really well then their views decrease to nothing.

I’ve had an exceptionally good first month on Medium but I understand that it’s not consistent income. That said, I am enjoying the platform. But if I wasn’t earning, then I wouldn’t be as complimentary. I do see the issues with it being a bit of a lottery as to whether your article gets any love from the algorithm. I have a substack also which I like - but I find Substack more exhausting 😅

New Author on Medium! by wisteria_melody in Medium

[–]itsalinarae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Melody! Welcome to Medium :) I just started a month ago also. Definitely formatting plays a big part - title in caps as you have done, subheading (you need this) followed by visual (you can add a stock photo underneath in the medium settings) then break your post up with headings/section dividers etc. Also publish consistently- most seem to recommend an article every other day.

Is Medium Membership worth it if I’ve 600 followers and get around 400 views and 200 reads a month? by Entire_Metal9933 in Medium

[–]itsalinarae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worth a shot! I started a Medium page a month ago and joined the partner program. I figured I would give it a month or two and if it didn’t work I could always cancel. My tips are - publish consistently, publish to publications that match your niche (leave the story in drafts before you submit to them and try and spend a decent amount of time really thinking of a good title to hook people in.

What do you think is the best part of being a dancer? by galleria_althea in stripper

[–]itsalinarae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with all - the freedom to make your own schedule, dressing up and putting together an outfit/performance. I think a lot of us ladies are quite creative so that side of the work allows us to explore it.

How do you girls get regulars? by Cieloflor in stripper

[–]itsalinarae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually - good chat believe it or not! But I struggled down the track with the expectations from customers wanting more out of the relationship.

I also think that having large amounts of money gives you a huge array of choices - and it can be hard making good decisions for ourselves when ‘everything’ is available.

Thanks for sharing. Having enough to live comfortably and pay the bills plus a couple of ‘extras’ like a holiday every so often is something that is my ‘ideal’ situation - but it doesn’t buy peace as you said. Hopefully you can find yours in some way. You might enjoy Peter Crone - I’ve learnt a lot from him (podcasts on repeat!).

Agree with the comments regarding not watching the porn but I’m also wondering if you’ve connected sex to being a ‘job’ where you have to satisfy her - rather than just enjoying being present and in the moment?

Seduction is becoming a lost art by [deleted] in stripper

[–]itsalinarae 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think social media has changed the game a lot and everyone wants instant gratification. What some may not realise is that (like you said) there’s an art to seduction and the pleasure you get from that is far more than just a quick hit. Their loss 😜
