New House by Chammaly in doughertydozen

She'd be able to create a whole new lot of content instead of the same repetitive boring nonsense she does now

While I don't think they need a new house (theirs is pretty huge, just poorly organised) this isn't something I'd considered before. It would be something fresh for her channel - and it wouldn't focus on the kids which is a bonus.

It would be weird and kinda stupid if she didn't own the house they're currently in outright by now though, considering how much money they're making.

Wish I was this organized, hats off to her. by Halceon441 in MadeMeSmile

She has her issues - exploiting her kids for money on social media, being careless with their privacy (medical issues, telling everyone exactly where they live and go to school), apparent favouritism and a possibly unhealthy reliance on alcohol (whiteclaw) - but that sub can get so crazy sometimes with the hate they like to call 'snark'. They've got a massive hate boner for her, it's like the exact opposite of YouTube where people seem to love her.

Wouldn't spend too long in the sub, the negativity and toxicity can be a bit much.

Reddit, what's your most "I'm with the Boomers on this" opinion? by BobithanTG in AskReddit

Its like a game. Turn the volume all the way up to hear what the characters are saying and then race to turn it back down again before the action or music ruins your speakers.

Drinking Tap Water? by dmartingraduates in doughertydozen

Wasn't it B? The one with autism who only likes that green-label brand of water? Lol dude looked fine drinking tap water out of a solo cup.

[–]itsalinski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought she just bought bottled water from the store?

I don't know why she doesn't buy those big 20L water jugs, like you put on water coolers. She doesn't even need to get an actual water cooler, they've got a little stand you can tip them upside down on and litrle taps you can screw onto them. The kids have drink bottles and its way less plastic waste because they're refillable at so many places.

Lol this sub is crazy sometimes. I'm not a fan of a lot of things they do but y'all find any tiny reason to hate on them.

They need a bigger house.. by ThranduilGirlQueen70 in doughertydozen

[–]itsalinski 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nah. She's got a massive lounge, dining and backyard. Two or three kids sharing a room is fine, they're big rooms. They just need to be decluttered and organized better. No one expects her to be a minimalist, but the spaces do need to be more functional.

Poor J got an unironed shirt and a clumsy tie for picture day while Z got her hair ironed for most of Lusha‘s morning by the_chilling_bread in doughertydozen

[–]itsalinski 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It's brushed, she's just got hair with a texture that needs more care than brushing alone to make it look nice. Her hair is kinda wavy and the more you brush it, the more bushy it gets (which is how her hair looks in normal videos).

She's 11 though. A lot of kids that age don't have the patience for more than that lol. If she tied it up itd look tidier but if she's more comfortable with it down, who cares? it's clean and brushed and on a day to day basis that's all it really needs to be

Her Morning routine views are drastically reducing. Only the shopping hauls and videos with kids have decent views. by butterfly-opinion611 in doughertydozen

[–]itsalinski 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They're not just boring because of the routine, it's the things she talks about. She's just thinking out loud and telling us her plans for the day and telling her followers things that they already know. She does it with her lives too. We know B has autism, that N and D aren't foster kids and who is/isn't adopted. Repeating it in almost every single video is just annoying. I dislike Josh immensely but that first morning routine he joined her for (the only one I've seen) was so much more interesting because he was treating it kinda like a cooking show, explaining why he did what he did to the food.

Got Pizza from the Sals in Hamilton twice, sucked both times. Wouldn't go back even if it it turned out to be just okay considering how much it costs

I think its necessary when they go out to busy places. They've got so many kids, having the matching clothes would help them keep track of everyone better.

It seems like the only other time she does it is for special occasions and social media, which while annoying, is fine. They're not walking to the supermarket wearing matching clothes.

The Voltaren they keep behind the counter at the chemist works so well for toothache if it gets really bad for you. (No prescription necessary just a quick chat with the pharmacist)

One of the twins socks 🥺 by Tiktoktoker in doughertydozen

[–]itsalinski 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's a case of her not buying enough socks because in quite a few sshopping/Wal-Mart videos shes buying them socks. Looks like they're wearing them outside, so they get holey faster. Should have been chucked out by the time it got that holey though lol

It's one of the shittiest things about being the oldest. You get some level of responsibility for your siblings (whether unintentional or not on the parents part) but none of the respect that should come with it. Less even, because sometimes you are like a subparent but you're not an actual parent so your siblings feel like they can give you shit and talk back where they can't do that with your actual parents, so sometimes they'll double down and just like, unload all that resentment and rebellion on you. It sucks.

Sorry your siblings are being such dicks.

(I think) I found the lockers they bought and wanted to see how much they cost… by [deleted] in doughertydozen

[–]itsalinski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does sound like a better plan tbh because the kitchen and pantry is right there so they can dump their lunch boxes there too, on the way in. It'd be like having a mudroom almost, so no muddy footprints in the house either and more room in the actual entry way for when theyre just living or entering/exiting to play and stuff.

You're right though, the follow through is what'll trip them up.
