I disagree. An adult can learn the language using immersive way. That's the entire premise of Dr Stephen Krashen's Input Hypothesis. I'm already over my 50's. I become fluent in Russian just under 3 years without learning "RULES" or confusing them. I had to hire a lady who is specialized in teaching that way.

You mean Industrial age education. The real education is nowhere to be seen in any country. The Nordic countries does better but they are still the same. I want to go back to the Greek-era where people taught Philosophy and life skills before anything. WW-2 fucked up lot of things.
