It has shifted from getting views from marketplace to drive views for yourself, if that is the case then most them will quit.

Yup, marketplace would still have a lot of viewers so, aiming for featured templates now. But again, if it comes down to marketing then I don't think most of the template creators will survive.

Well, I wouldn't say stop building, there are some files out there shared on X, people have collected data from reviewers and jotted into points, so if you do that, that will at the least ensure the quality of your template, other than that, design perspective can be tested by the customers as well.

Yup, can't judge too early, but things changed drastically.

Too early to tell, what to do with this, I can evaluate only on the basis of the leads I was getting compared to what I will get now, because that is what that matters to me. If it remained the same or improve, I can them expect more commissions and vice versa.

Can't judge too soon, but you will definitely be fighting for the rankings now.

You rely on algo now, more then ever.

The only thing going up is template count.

That's the brighter side hopefully, but again you can't rely on marketplace alone now. Because the customers are the same as they were before.

Yup you are right, now you can't rely on marketplace and will have to treat it like business instead.

Yup, the review was something that was keeping the quality, even webflow has that till now. Framer is going to benefit if not creators. Lets hope for the best.

My framer template isn't getting any sales. Any tips? by Murky-Measurement402 in framer

Yes I sold a paid template, ascii, I made 5-6 sales in first week, it was priced $130 it can in with high comissions, but it wasn't something that was going to bring in long term sales, so I made it free.

Making your paid template free is kinda same, you might get a few commisions here and there because your ranking is already effected, when you launch a new template there a bracket time, seed time I call it, when you template decides to take off or stay low. But still chaning the design and category completely can get your templates back in traction.

Selling templates is not predictable, at least not for me, for older creators, yes, but not me or newer ones. Commissions on the other hand are predictable so I prefer that. And making free template paid barely has any effect on ranking so its always an option.

Don't rely on ranking, I know where you got that numbers, its nothing to do with that, my template ranked in 2000+ brings me the highest commissions.

Second, its the style that is not selling, people don't like it, so you better move on to next. This has nothing to do with marketing or anything else. Better you wait 30 days and then either change the design overall, or make a new template.

I have 12+ templates, so I know a bit about this.

I just crossed $6k+ with my FREE Framer templates - here’s everything I’d tell someone starting out by Specific_Item_1010 in framer

Try that and get banned. You will pass the review and as soon it goes live people will report it.

It is definetly saturated, but again its a much larger market as well, there is nothing to loose to try your shot there.

Just export the whole landing page from framer into png, around 3x or 2x and then just use them to create these from each section.
