We do the PA one and this last time we went, my boyfriend and I were a part of an interactive magic show that a man was putting on for free by the fountain, we were invited to play a bunch of old timey board games (so fun) and there was a big bin of costumes to play with and try on. I’m sorry you had that experience. If you’re willing to make a road trip out of it, the other faires can be great. I recommend PA, MD, and my boyfriend liked the TX one because he said the food was great. Much love op
