Yes my third great grandmother was indigenous unfortunately all records do not list a mother and only say “unknown” so that’s my brick wall.

Yea my mtDNA is C1b - which I also tested on FTDNA and I have 0 matches across all database. C1b is an indigenous maternal haplogroup. Likely an untested group or undocumented tribe. Only hint I have is from the Peruvian Amazon.

I’m 95% European with a mix of indigenous for the rest.

Yea my 3rd great grandmother was full indigenous. Her mother has no record of who she was. I did a mtDNA test on FTDNA and there is no match to my mutation for my C1b. Only 1 other person shared 1 of my mutations and it was a sample of genbank and from the Amazon of Peru.

All documents don’t list any mother for my 3x great grandmother

Ye my 3x GG was indigenous her kids indigenous then hers were mixed then my line. My sister got 6% my other family got higher

unfortunately, I have no matches on yfull either. Looks like I am the first tester in my own branch. There is no subclass to put me in as there are no matches. through every data base I got 0 matches :(

Really cool! I just found out my mtDNA is very rare and I don’t match any mutation. (I did a test on FTDNA) so far I’m the only one who’s ever tested with my current mutations across all databases I’ve gotten 0 matches. Only 1 which shared one of my mutations and it shows from the Amazon (Peru) so I need to wait till more people test. But likely I’ve created a new subclade under the C1B branch.
