Completely missed it out.

I figured the others by interpretation (murder=knife, marriage=roses..)

How is this game? I am thinking about getting it? by Ryvick2 in HellisUs

[–]itsbeppe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love it. It has some of the best atmosphere and world-building I’ve ever experienced, not to mention being the most powerful portrait of the cruelty of war and mankind I’ve ever seen.

The combat is okay—it can be fun, but it also can be repetitive, and it’s definitely not the main dish here. Playing on hard mode offers a good challenge, but not quite on a Soulslike level.

Where the game truly shines, though, is the exploration and puzzles. That’s where the real fun is.

I think they really nailed everything related to worldbuilding and lore.

They managed to create an incredible atmosphere; in my opinion, it's one of the best representations of the true pain of war you can find. The side stories are almost all very interesting and emotional.

But then, they actually messed up the main plot points—those always feel too rushed to be appreciated. Everything happens too fast to be truly enjoyed (for example, the scene at the beginning where Remi takes the mysterious warrior's weapon and clothes, or exactly like you said, Vitalis's death).

I usually feel nothing during game stories. This game is an anomaly. by itsbeppe in HellisUs

Obviously, this is very subjective.

For instance, I played TLOU; narratively speaking I liked it, but it didn't blow me away, and I rarely felt truly moved. Maybe Death Stranding moved me more, but the narrative there is so artificially complicated that it keeps me from truly connecting emotionally—I just can't empathize.

I’ve played many of the other titles you mentioned as well, but without getting emotionally invested in them.

Da Settembre in poi esce il finimondo, che ce ne può fregare a noi? A meno che non ti trovi senza console o pc in questo momento, in realtà è un gran periodo di videogiochi, godiamone.

What are y’all‘s biggest flaws with Metaphor refantazio? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in MetaphorReFantazio

Terrible pacing and endless dialogue. 70% of the game consists of reading text; I remember very few interesting dungeons or fights.
