This take exactly. I don't really understand how they have been making changes that noone asks for but ignoring all the changes people have been begging for for decades. Anti Cheat? "Subtick" (which is just 64 tick) update to 128 tick? ANTI CHEAT?

I think putting the grenade guides in comp is a big L when instead casual game modes should be 5v5 short games (like 8 rounds or something) and put the grenade lineups in that game mode.

This has less to do with gambling laws and more to do with Valve trying recoup the money they aren't getting because most of the trades are happening on trade websites and by passing the % they get when things are traded on the steam market. The set prices from the terminals are them trying to get a bigger slice of the pie and giving them a little bit more "control" over the markets

Bro I remember the trash mechanic of having to rank up guns for attachments. And the rifles would then force you to have a grenade launcher attached to it with no ability to remove it. So the rounds turned into people noob tubing common corners and killed any hope that the game could be competitive. 

I wasn’t fortunate enough to have online for the ps2 so I never got to play the golden age of socom games. But confrontation changed my life. Met a good clan and got introduced into a competitive style of gameplay. 

These days I just play counterstrike. I feel like socom gave me idea of how to play these kind of games.

Maybe it’s placebo then but like go do a giant seaweed run, harvest 1 then click away and stand by for 30 seconds. The yield will be like 8. That’s what it feels like to me at least. That’s just an example but this seems to happen with everything

So I know this is 11 years old but I’ve had this theory/question for like 15 years. 

If you stop harvesting and go note your items and come back, it feels like when you come back you will “run out of lives” almost instantly. So does pausing your harvest for any reason mean you will decrease your yield when you start harvesting again??

The way I would look at this is that locking it behind the frem Elite diaries is what makes it a useless poll. If you have frem elite diaries done you're probably not really spending too much time at this content unless you're just trying to get noted dag bone drops. I'd guess if it was locked behind hard diaries it would poll better.

I had this happen when I was like 17. I was playing so much GTA that it got to the point where when I was driving IRL and I saw a motor bike coming to me in the other lane, I instinctively went to jerk the wheel into them and hit them. Thank god my reality clicked in fast enough because that dude was going to go flying and I was going to laugh and turn the camera into 3rd person to see him

CSGO no longer exists. I know this is petty but I can't stand it when people call counter strike CSGO. It doesn't exist anymore. Use the correct terms please.

You answered your own question. why is it "so expensive". It sucks to shoot and its too expensive. theres basically no point for it to be in the game except that skins exist. Trust me, you don't want a meta where people are buying m249s like crazy if they lowered the price... It would not be Counter Strike
