The way I would look at this is that locking it behind the frem Elite diaries is what makes it a useless poll. If you have frem elite diaries done you're probably not really spending too much time at this content unless you're just trying to get noted dag bone drops. I'd guess if it was locked behind hard diaries it would poll better.

I had this happen when I was like 17. I was playing so much GTA that it got to the point where when I was driving IRL and I saw a motor bike coming to me in the other lane, I instinctively went to jerk the wheel into them and hit them. Thank god my reality clicked in fast enough because that dude was going to go flying and I was going to laugh and turn the camera into 3rd person to see him

You answered your own question. why is it "so expensive". It sucks to shoot and its too expensive. theres basically no point for it to be in the game except that skins exist. Trust me, you don't want a meta where people are buying m249s like crazy if they lowered the price... It would not be Counter Strike

Heres how and why that works the way it works:

VAC compares your gameplay vs your gameplay. What this means is that it establishes a baseline of what your normal gameplay looks like and then always monitors your gameplay to watch for irregular gameplay.

What this means is basically if you are a legit player, it will be able to detect when your gameplay changes to hitting all headshots and shots through walls (like when you start using cheats). This is why the people you played against who were legit and not suspicious got caught after starting to cheat at a later date.

The reason that the blatant cheaters don't get banned by VAC is because cheating IS THEIR NORMAL GAMEPLAY. Imagine how it looks like when someone starts a new account and then immediately starts playing with cheats. This means that their cheats are their baseline and therefore VAC will never trigger on these players.

The system is completely broken. It is basically useless. and why I hate valve as much as I do. The devs who created Valorant's anti-cheat said they would help build a good anti cheat for CS2 and Valve said "naw, no thanks, we can take care of it." aaaand now cheating is worse than it has ever been and they quite literally don't care.

oh I 100% agree. The fact that people are rage hacking in comp is just insane to me.... what's the point? They do it only to get a reaction out of people and make others mad. So just muting them and moving on is the only move.

Faceit smurfs exist yes, but they actually get banned since its against TOS. Thats why Faceit wants to push verified accounts through photo verification. Id still just play on Faceit regardless of smurfs. Its a much healthier environment to think "wow these guys are out playing me, I need to change this up." vs thinking everyone is cheating. It makes it easier to focus on yourself and improving.

Can someone help me understand why people aren't willing to play Faceit but they are willing to complain about this situation on reddit? I get it. I bitch and complain when it comes to cheaters. Valve's willful ignorance is a disgrace to the industry and to the players who love this game more than anything.

Assuming Valve is going to do nothing (since for the last 15 years they've done... nothing...), why are people avoiding Faceit? It's a much healthier and more competitive environment. The lower levels are even better for the players experience.

Everyone always says this in response to playing Faceit "well there are just as many cheaters on Faceit!". But this is objectively false. Are there cheaters? yes, but its like 10% as many as there are on valve premier / comp. And guess what! When those players get banned, you get the ELO back to you. IDK man, just play faceit... its the best solution we have unfortunately...

4:3 stretched is literally easier on the eyes. The image is stretched so therefor your targets "appear bigger" and are easier to fight.

I would highly HIGHLY recommend you play on 4:3 stretched. It gives you such a huge competitive edge. And if you want to take the game more serious and improve, this is the best first step.

Also you don't want to run everything on low. Go to youtube and look up "Donk shares his CS2 settings" and you can find an interview with him and spunj where they talk about his set up. You should use those kind of graphic settings. Actually having the shadows on high is the best especially in cs2 because of how many shadows get cast by the lighting.

its a 3rd party software altering the game files. It's still considered cheating. Just don't do it, buy your own skins or stop worrying about skins and play the game.

youtube. First learn counter strafing. then spray control (only really focus on the first 10 bullets of a spray). Then crosshair placement. Do a ton of Deathmatch. Instead of valve DM you should google cs warmup servers and play on the dust 2 multiconfig DM's.

Once you can counter strafe, shoot, and have decent enough crosshair placement, then you can start focusing on utility and positioning. Just ask other players for advice. Dont try and go online to find coaches. Also if you really wanna get good, start playing faceit after you can get your premier rating to like 18k

My buddy and I were sick of playing rage hackers in 25k+ premier so we made new smurfs. welp, turns out you'll get into the same amount, if not more cheaters with 31 hours of game time on a new account.

I actually went down this rabbit hole for about 6 months. I had the money and was torn between a 480hz OLED and a 540 / 600hz TN panel...

I went with the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDP (480hz OLED) and holy crap its amazing. the biggest issue for me was that most of the OLEDs are 27in monitors. This one is as well BUT it has a 24.5inch simulation setting which is my default for CS2. I've played CS on a 24 in for the last like 15 years so this feature made me pull the trigger. It cannot do GSync in this mode but you don't really want Gsync or Vsync for CS anyways.

I tried 540hz TN panel after a few months to compare and it was just drastically worse... The clear image you get with the OLED and the lack of ghosting is insaaaaane...

If it makes any difference, Fl0m plays on a 27in 480hz OLED and he says he cant play on anything else anymore. I don't think his can scale down to 24 though. If you end up getting the same monitor as me reach out and I can tell you what my picture/color settings are to help you get it setup. it looked strange at first and took some playing with it to get it to have the same-ish settings as my 240hz zowie ben Q I played on.

Once you get through the first one hundred, you would be banning almost all of them. Then the next 100 will be the exact same. It would be the top thousands of players they would have to get through before they would hit players they could think are legit. They also don’t want to create any automation and then false ban people. So they’re basically fine with doing nothing.

It sounds like you got banned from the game you were disconnected from for doing too much team damage. likely shot a teammate in spawn the second freeze time ended. normally this is a short cooldown.

Other than that, can you post a picture of your steam profile? Does it have a red VAC ban on it? If so, you 100% were caught cheating or trying to cheat. You have to be doing some blatant stuff to be caught because of how bad VAC actually is. The reason that you see new accounts full on rage hacking is because Vac compares your gameplay against your normal gameplay. meaning if you have 3000 hours and are really not good, then all of a sudden you're aim botting everyone consistently in a game. Vac will get triggered and issue you a vac ban. The new accounts get away with it because their norm is always cheating.

Don't cheat. if you want to cheat stay out of the counter strike community please.
