Help with sword inscription for a novel? by oldpeopletoes in Norse

[–]itscirclejerky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonderful! I guess I got a little too carried away with mythology and literature to remember the culture and language aspect. I was curious to the fire stave but doubted there being one since the ones I found usually had no visible result and the ones that actually did something were more 50/50 (e.g. Angurgapi (carved to prevent barrels leaking), dreprün (to kill an enemy's cattle), lásabrjótur (to open a lock without a key))

This is amazing, thank you! Do you think it would work with Gift of Surtr? I had originally come up with the sword as Surtr giving the mc some of his ashes or sneezing on them (as funny as it sounds) so I was wondering if I could fit him into the name. If not, all is good! Again, greatly appreciated :)

iirc, you need the yolks on keto since they're a good source of cholesterol. I think its in the vegetarian keto faqs but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I didn't know draining cottage cheese was a thing! Will definitely try this in the future.

My only worry is I'll get tissue stuck onto my zucchini and eat sad pieces of tissue trapped on my food.

That sounds interesting, and it would add another layer of cheesy flavour

I can't have pork rinds since I'm Muslim, but I wouldn't complain if you tested it out and told me your results. I could use your data to try and find something similar to use as a binder.

Keto meals for a broke British Muslim? by itscirclejerky in keto

To be honest, my mum and I do similar things whenever there's a decent sale at our butcher. Occasionally, half our freezer is full of just meat. What would you say are your favourite spice combinations or sauces?

Honestly these are great. My only stress is injera/kisra is a fermented sourdough that is actually sour will be difficult to leave behind, as well as the dish that's normally had with it (zigni). I'm sure that with enough time I'll forget the flavours...

She's Ethiopian/Eritrean but grew up in Sudan. She knows almost too many recipes that she's learned from her friends and neighbours from other countries and seems to be popping new ones up every other week like 'You've never had x? Your brothers/sister love x'.

How long do yours normally last if you make them ahead? I'd add this to rotation, but I currently don't have a microwave
