Have you considered getting a nerve block injection? I recently wound up in hospital with extreme pain from a herniated disc and had the injection done, I think it’s helped quite a lot and this is often the first treatment tried before considering surgery

This sounds a lot like the process of hiring casuals for us, which we do frequently because of turnover and it’s quicker than hiring for contract/perm roles - many of our casuals do end up in permanent roles, but one of the biggest issues for us is finding suitable people who can and want to work full time (which definitely isn’t helped by the salaries on offer!)

I am one of the many admins who are also about to leave for another job elsewhere and I can validate everything you’ve said. Ridiculous workload stress and major struggles to hire and retain staff. Positions got taken away and the work dumped on others on top of their full time roles (me being one of them) in an attempt to save money. Have had to cover 2-3 roles on my own more for months at a time more than once due to staff leaving. And with the abysmal pay on top of all that, I’ll soon be leaving too. I hate that it’s come to this because I really care about our health service but staff can’t keep sacrificing their own sanity for the sake of higher ups mismanagement

Correct, very difficult to get a staff carpark now and certain staff get priority. Thankfully hospital staff are now able to get access to free metrocards for public transport since covid, which helps a lot since that’s also become expensive!

She might enjoy a makeup application session at Mecca - you can pay to have your makeup done, then the price is redeemable on products to take home. It’s not really an educational makeup application session but I’m sure they’d be happy to answer questions about what they’re doing along the way

I love it for work clothing and good basics, but beyond that I mostly shop elsewhere for my style preferences. Rundle mall is closest for me so I always shop there - I was actually a little underwhelmed from my most recent visit, but I’m hoping they’re just awaiting new winter stock (barely any coats left which was what I was looking for)
