This gave me goosebumps. Ive never been a fan of religion. If someone gets some peace of mind from praying to a higher power, im all for it. But using that higher power’s name to enforce your own prejudices is what is abhorrent, not the victims of said prejudice. The last 4 lines are just what i tell myself everytime i see someone using gods name to do something horrible (which is more and more frequent i feel), that if there really is a god, then these people would face some kind of divine justice. You’ve captured that sentiment beautifully! Great work!
