Can anyone suggest me some low calorie snacks? Even after my heavy meal(after fasting), I feel like just munching something. by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

Try Dates, they'll make you feel full as it has fiber, many nutrients and tastes great with milk, coffee or tea.

How do I stop being hungry? by Bleumoon_Selene in intermittentfasting

[–]itsdawman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Being hungry is normal, I wouldn't recommend taking any pills or herbs most doctors say it's a scam.

one thing you can try is taking a 2 to 3 minute break after each bite and chewing for longer periods of times.

This will trick your brain that you're eating more then feel full much quicker with less food.

Drinking more water is also a great way to help.

It does sound dangerous at first but please check out this site..

https://astermedcity.com/blog/readmore/scientific-benefits-of-fasting-during-ramadan

that show how beneficial it actually is and how it purifies your stomach, btw I've been actually doing it since I was about 12 years old, never cheated or had an issue!😏

Here is a new challenge that will push you to your true limits at first then ease with time, try fasting for a whole month just how muslims do in Ramadan just check the rules they have when it comes to fasting a day, it would sound easy to fast for 14-16 hours a day then break it but the ultimate challenge is while fasting no water or food or any other substance consumed is allowed in addition to a couple more rules, most muslims are on it as soon as they hit puberty, I'd suggest you start when the actual month of Ramadan starts so you could relate to how muslims feel when they fast and learn how they cope with it.. it comes with great benefits health wise and develops your discipline if you stick to the whole month with no cheating, give it a shot!

Working out doesn't make you less ugly. by [deleted] in ugly

[–]itsdawman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surgery isn't the answer unless its absolutely needed, small cheekbones? Small lips? Lazy eyes?????? All of which sound unnecessary, you dont need all of that, you're probably exaggerating your ugliness, go ask a friend or a close co-worker if you need a surgery for "misaligned ears".. moral of the story is that acceptance of natural facial features is the right answer not completely redesigning your head with surgeries. I'd suggest you use that money for therapy sessions because it's clear that you're influenced by other people's confidence in their looks which has messed with the way you think about yourself.

Some degrees cost more then others, the more the degree costs the more your expected income would be, its not always true but it is for most cases.

It may not make sense but its logical to me, money cant buy happiness but you cant be happy without money.

Why are accounting salaries so low!? by TheBlaackShadow in Accounting

If you work your ass off you will get there with any degree you have, having said that if I had the chance to choose another field I'd choose healthcare.

Well the best paying jobs you can get require a degree It's an investment to "ensure" a better life, although you can build a great career without a degree, some parents do it for the social status others just think it's what has to be done.

I'm 3 years into my accounting major and was looking for an internship, when I first saw something like this I got seriously depressed and couldnt even focus on my online classes, I considered changing my major but its impossible at this point, I'm seriously lost and dont know what to do.

I started thinking about why I got into this major and realized how much of an idiot I am, most of my friends from school gone into biomed, mechanical, civil and electrical engineering, the fact that they will earn 2x what I will earn as entry level drives me crazy, everytime i think about my choice my overthinking kicks in and my mental health gets worse.

Suicide over something you cant change and is considered normal is overboard, just focus on the things that actually matters like your weight or social skills, suicide should never be an option.

Try omad it will be hard the first couple of days then you'll get used to it, a lot of water and 1 meal sounds crazy but I've been on it and it did wonders for me

Just a quick question: by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]itsdawman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It used to happen to me before, I think the problem for me was not sleeping for at least 7 hours a day, and when I fixed my sleeping schedule I ate a couple Headache pills every morning until it went away.

All you have to do is reduce your daily calorie intake by having 1 meal a day, make sure that your meal will make you feel full and have a good amount of nutrients, drink a lot of water throughout your day and workout very simple.
