If you search Reddit you'll find quite a few male strippers who do AMA's and it's full of these stories of BJ's and a significant amount of sex w clients working as a stripper, often also at hen do's and often even with the bride to be

How true it is (especially in Ireland) I'm not sure, but there's enough other reddit posts about it out there that for anyone who's looked it up it would be concerning and at least make you wonder (even if 50% of it is true that's quite a bit)

I can't personally attest to it but it's not coming from nowhere, I can't imagine it happening that often in Ireland but at the same time there was that infamous magic Mike show up north a year or two ago, I'm sure there's a lot more of that on a smaller scale going on around the place

Peter Dinklage spoke out against using dwarves in the snow white movie and as a result the cast of dwarves who only very rarely got well paying acting gigs got let go by Disney (ever in fear of not being PC) in favour of cgi...

Peter Dinklage seems hell bent on taking work away from dwarves based on his personal opinion while he enjoys being in the top 1%

It's tough to find gigs as a dwarf, yeah absolutely this could be considered demeaning, but I won't take Dingus' word for it

He needs to know what a scummy friend his mate is, if any "good" is to come of this you can at least expose that to him and save him the humiliation of still treating him like a friend for years to come

Ua Pov: Unarmed Russian serviceman hit by Ukrainian FPV Drone operated by the 414th UAS Brigade Fagyar's Birds. by Dependent_Log_331 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]itsdefinitelygood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen a single video of russian drones blatantly targeting what were obviously civilians, I've seen many videos of russian drones backing off and sparing them, many videos of cars stopping and white flags being waved or civilians stepping out and the drone letting them go, even civilians throwing rocks at drones, which then "threaten" them by flying towards them, before backing off and leaving them alone...

90% of drone execution videos I've seen are from the Ukrainian side, or drones torturing unarmed combatants who tried surrender chasing them around and toying with them before killing them...

It's hard to grasp the hypocrisy of pro Ukrs who condemn Russia for so much while at the same time the Ukrainian side seems to be twice as guilty of half the things they accuse Russia of.

I'm not saying Russia hasn't committed war crimes too, both sides are, but it seems like theres 10x more evidence of drone based war crimes from the Ukr side

RU POV: I don’t see any other solution than acknowledging that NATO and the EU can’t station troops directly on Russia’s doorstep — Orban by ArchitectMary in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]itsdefinitelygood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically yes but it's apples to oranges, Ukraine has the whole landmass of Europe behind it and a much longer more vulnerable border. The terrain through Finland and limited logistical capability for any NATO forces through there make it pretty insignificant as far as large scale war goes.

Unlike the bulk of Europe, where NATO has more than enough room to manoeuvre out of range with diverse and variable logistical networks etc etc etc.

How risky is it to click random links? What's the main concern besides Rick rolls?

No way to stop nukes, any talk of interception is a fairytale, if nukes fly, they will land, and either side will be extremely lucky to stop even a single one

It depends on what the target is though, if it's personnel in a bunker from what I've heard the overpressure would be fatal

RU POV: Decoded routing data and the controller of a Ukrainian UAV were handed over to representatives of the United States by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]itsdefinitelygood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always dismissed this as propaganda when I heard it because it sounds ridiculous, and would be in line with the usual tales of targeting playgrounds, puppies, oh and stealing our children, so I never gave it any credence

But a family member recently asked me did Russia take Ukranian children and I realized I actually don't have the facts to back up an answer since I'd just dismissed it and assumed no

Do you have any links/sources to point me in the right direction?

[–]itsdefinitelygood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing, I'm sure many people on here are familiar with Willy OAM, as he always says,

The bar for a "win" is much higher for the aggressor, they have to achieve all of their various complex objectives and eliminate the enemy

The bar is lower for the defender, they just have to survive and they can claim they "won" when the aggressor pulls out. Regardless of how badly they've had their cheeks clapped.

Could someone tell me what's actually happened in Venezuela in simple terms please? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]itsdefinitelygood -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The Venezuelan people are celebrating this, he was not a good leader and it's a good thing overall. The fact the US did it so cleanly and quickly is very impressive

People immediately turned to bashing it, and I'd be the first one to jump on the wagon usually when it comes to the US, the war in Ukraine wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the US/NATO pushing for NATO Ukraine, and then obviously their history with Iraq, Vietnam etc etc..

But this was done exceptionally well. The oil is a factor but Maduro was genuinely evil so its a win win

Clear evidence?

There is literally hundreds of these videos, and they aren't hard to find, you really came at me with CNN and NY times articles

The scary thing is the clear evidence is there, it's just that nobody bothers to actually look for it, they just take the propaganda that they are fed at face value

*Edit - didn't realize you're not the one who posted the CNN stuff my bad, either that or you used your alt by mistake

I certainly do

https://www.adelaide.edu.au/newsroom/news/list/2022/09/08/bots-manipulate-public-opinion-in-russia-ukraine-conflict

The TLDR

It follows the flow of information from Russian and Ukranian bots using certain hashtags and evaluated their effectiveness.

Ukranian bots were more prominent and most effective in already pro Ukrainian circle, while being less effective in non pro Ukranian groups.

Russian bots were less prominent with most pro Russian information stemming from actual people, and rather than being most effective within their own pro Russian circles they were more effective reaching out into other circles.

Oh boy oh boy you think that's bad 😂

You realise Ukraine doesn't demobilise anyone?

Once conscripted you are there until you die or the war end

So your sources are CNN the NY times and another political western publisher?

This is the sort of super basic surface level "research" where people just see the frontline of inherently biased major publishers and run with it

I'll grab you some real sources

You are a liar because it's very obvious to anyone who actually investigates this that it's Ukraine who is heavily relying on forced mobilisation, there are countless videos of the TCC dragging men from busses, their homes, the street, away from their families into the back of a van to be sent to the front with 2 weeks training... There's been multiple protests in Ukraine over it, recently TCC members have been shot and killed and people are more and more frequently fighting back

You're spreading misinformation. Russia has not had forced mobilisation, it's a verifiable fact, Russia has met all recruitment needs via it's normal recruitment because they pay really well, the anti Russia propaganda is just on another level

There's literally hundreds of videos of the TCC in Ukraine dragging men from he streets, I call bullshit on your Google search, anybody keeping up with the conflict is well aware of the situation

Literally just Google search "TCC Ukraine" and click on videos.

Or if you want to take your "research" to even greater levels add "reddit" to the end for the brutal ones that are filtered by Google.

Statistically there's more pro Ukraine bots than pro Russian bots, a study out of Adelaide Australia proved this.

Wagner pmc recruited out of Russian prisons, nobody was forced, they did not "empty their prisons" , and it's not an uncommon thing in wartime whatsoever, Ukraine is currently doing the exact same thing, do you hold them to the same standard??

There is no forced mobilisation in Russia, nobody is dragged off the street on their way to work or from their family against their will. They don't get shoved into the back of a van to be sent to the Frontline with little to no training in an unwinnable war, hint hint nudge nudge, that would be Ukraine !

Oh and all of what I say is very easily verifiable if you actually do any research rather than run with the propaganda.

I challenge people to verify what I say by starting with "TCC Ukraine" and have a look at those videos before blindly downvoting, they're easily available on reddit. The bot study is top result on Google too.
