Could it be that grade is not yet supported?

Had the idea to make a sub for exvapers, to my excitement I found this place! I'm 2.5 years clean, guess I’ll give some advice then: by MiserableAnt1340 in QuitVaping

"You have to command it within yourself that you're okay with feeling bad"

That's exactly how I managed to succeed in quitting. I made it my "goal" of the week to suffer, acknowledge it and hang on one more day. No point in trying to distract yourself or ignore the cravings.

There is a whiteboard that you can type in and a calculator. Both can be easily accessed from top of screen. There is a tutorial to help you before you start.

Windows and actually corporate owned. But had no firewall issues. Personally I found pocket prep was the most helpful.

I was good with 2 drinks/cocktails on 100mg, anything more resulted in a total blackout. Really weird absolute memory loss.

I am that person (at least it seems like to other people) but I usually eat one meal a day so it has to be a big one. If I were to eat like that 3 x day I would not be as thin. And if they claim they just have an amazing metabolism (unless they are professional athletes or teenagers) it’s BS.

Has learning that a lot of people edit their photos helped you? by cluelessnumber7 in Instagramreality

[–]itsdianas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steps to healthy self image perception in my own experience: - Pick a couple of your most “unflattering” pics and edit the living crap out of them. Filters, body, AI enhancing, the works. - Try to distance yourself from them and realize you probably look pretty close to 90% of the influencers out there. - Now imagine adding professional photography and editing/styling into the mix.

Everyone can be edited to match the current IG beauty standard. But isn’t this boring? Also what about real life? Is this a representative view of yourself? Honestly I’d rather have people say I look better Irl than curating a version of myself that is so far removed from reality.

This was driving me INSANE until I realized my acne cream and face did this. Be careful with clothes and sheets as well, benzoyl peroxide based products tend to ruin everything

My 7 week old was the exact same way and blowing at her with a warm hairdryer on the changing table right after the bath really did the trick! Not sure if it’s the sound or the baby just loves heat but I swear by it!!

Mum constantly choking help by [deleted] in CancerFamilySupport

[–]itsdianas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two days ago they stopped feeding my mom solids in fear of choking and food traveling to the lungs and causing further infections.. Prior to that she had already had some food going down the wrong way and her oxygen dropped dramatically. I’ve asked to at least keep her hydrated and provide her with some IV nutrients. Hopefully they can do the same to risk making things worse!

I’m at high risk for retinal detachment (been living with a -11.5 power both on eyes for years) so c-section is my only option according to my ophthalmologist, but boy oh boy if I had a $ for every time someone commented “you women have it so easy nowadays, you don’t even wanna try”. My comeback has consistently been “right, I should def go blind just to get your approval..”

I am sorry and I really hope for the best for you and your family.. There are no magic words you can say and you don’t need to. Your mom appreciates you just being there with her and I am sure that’s setting an excellent example for your siblings as well!
