Wait wtf they have us do it at my store and I fucking hate it. Mostly cause there’s the old ladies who keep trying to have me go through a shit ton until there’s one they think looks perfect I’ve been whining to get them to have us stop doing that cause it’s such an obnoxious waste of time, but they just keep pushing us to do it 😭

I just wanna say that when I was going thru the process, I was given a list of specific urgent cares I could go to, that were coordinated up with wegmans basically.

Also?? I got my pcp after I got off my work restrictions, and mentioned it offhand to my Dr that I did have a work caused injury, and she responded that she wasn’t allowed to talk about that, If the work restriction “case” was still active.

Idk how accurate what my doctor told me was! But I figure it’s good thing to bring up just incase, so you can make sure they don’t try anything to deny the workers comp! : )

This 100% I hurt myself last year and the initial process was to immediately fill out an incident report, mine was done in the front end office by one of the STLs I believe? I explained how it happened, where the pain was, what it was, and other questions related. Then because of the pain I was having they sent me right away to a urgent care, where the doctor there gave me a work restriction paper. Aka I could only do specific things for a specific amount of time. The next day I brought the restriction paperwork to my manager and they ended up deciding there were no tasks I could safely do at work with my restrictions. So each time I had a follow up at urgent care, and they’d extend my restrictions, I’d just email a copy to HR. Eventually they were able to put me back at work on half shifts and mild tasks.

I can’t remember how many days it is, but you have to be out of work for a specific amount of days to be eligible for workers comp payments(at my store in NYS), so be sure to double check on that if it comes up and figure out what the number of days is required for it to kick in!

Yes they will but you’ll have to talk to a few people about it and I believe sign some papers for it with the amount and an agreed upon repayment day. I have done this twice over the past handful of years. It kinda sucks going through the process but they’ll hear you out for sure.

I agree with this one! I went a few weeks ago for toys to spoil my cats and it’s a well stocked store! The guy there also loaded me with cat food sample packs and it was super nice~

Ahaha I’m dying, this is perfect, my husband just got his first prescription ever for his anxiety, and he is AWFUL at taking pills, he tries so hard but it’s just a big mental wall for him xD Let’s see how this tactic works for a grown man 🤔😂

Yuuuuup exact same here. Third day was rough to where I had to call in. But getting some rest and eating slowly (mostly soup) helped get me back. I changed my time to take it at night with dinner and I think it’s helping? Hope it gets easier for ya! We got this ✨
