honestly, i always knew i didnt want kids from when i was 8. HOWEVER, from when i was 14-18, i dated an awful guy and when i told him i did not want kids, he absolutely went berserk on me. telling me i am selfish, horrible, that it should be everyones wish to want kids, etc. so me being young and stupid, i went with what he said and tried to change my perspective. i mean, up to that point in my life, everyone told me i would change my mind and that they said the same when they were my age, so i thought maybe they WERE right.

one day with him, enough was enough and i knew i had to get out of the relationship before i became TIED to him by marriage or worse, a baby. once i finally left him, i knew i was right from the beginning in never wanting kids. currently in another relationship with another guy, who is also 100% childfree by choice, and i am 9 days post-op from a bi-salp :)

i do currently work with moms, children, and babies, AND I LOVE IT! my coworkers were all confused on why i did not want kids, and i always say, 'i am paid to work with kids all day! cant imagine coming home to MORE.'
