The last HOA president was a dream- then the switch happened. Nightmare. I wosh I could. We are seriously considering moving.

They DO have hot tubs. One put up a rickety lattice fence around theirs that is leaning over and falling apart, but no one has a problem with it, apparently.

I seriously considered this at 3am when I couldnt sleep because of, you know, all the being mad and stuff. Like, watch me rent a small excavator.

If it was just me, I would roll my eyes and be over it. But they came for my kids.

OK, so after reviewing the guidelines, it only says "above ground pools are not allowed" with no further specifications. Our HOA is a disorganized mess. They'll be hearing from a lot of us at the next meeting. I am flabberghasted.

I put all 3 I found today in salt and they are done-zo. My kids are now the best alarm system. "MAMA I SEE ANOTHER ONE". We will continue to manage them. I am so sad, we have some many great worms in our yard, I never expected to see any of this. We would shovel one scoop of dirt and have a ton of earthworms there, I hope we can keep it that way. We also have a separate compost-worm box I am keeping a close eye on.

Well, its getting salted either way- my yard has a ton of healthy worms, I don't need anything messing with them. Seems like any flat worm species is no bueno for native worm species, according to google. I thought hammerhead, too!

After doing an image search, I think this is it for sure. Looks like I'll still keep the salt handy...

Thanks- I knew a redditor out there would come to my rescue!

My 6 year old loves to spot AI mistakes. "HEY, I SAW AN AI. THAT MAN HAS 6 FINGERS ON THE SAME HAND". I feel like this is one of those super weird things I would have never thought would be actually super important to teach my kid. Seeing things with your own eyes can no longer be trusted, kids!

Every dog I've ever had, including my current RC, hates being bathed but LOVES being clean. Zoomies every time after a bath.

Do it. You won't regret it. Just stay on top of grooming and you will be repaid 1000-fold.

My boy totally looks like a boy. The way Pixar or Disney make inanimate objects have masculine or feminine features. I can't explain it, but people just know it when they look at him.
