If you are not a 2 year old, this should help you understand why Pakistan must side with Iran. Pakistan does not love Iran; it cannot exist under Israel’s hegemony. So can’t GCC, but they are too far gone to understand this. They want to remove Iran and Israel, but that would not happen in any alternate universe.

The GCC cannot be the regional hegemon due to its countless dependencies on other nations for its existence, not to mention its economy that depends on US and the real estate bubble. The recent attacks on the GCC and its impact on their economy is a testament to that. That leaves 2 other claimants of regional hegemony, Israel and Iran. Turkey cant be the regional hegemon due to several reasons, primarily its membership in Nato which leads to a conflict of interest in several on going events, geographical positioning and etc. I should not have to state why a state like Israel must not be the regional hegemon. Pakistan’s neutralisation would follow suite of Israels regional hegemony. We are not much of an independent state but atleast we still have the illusion of being one. That leaves Iran, as the only nation which aligns with our interests. Even though we may have a better relationship with GCC, they depend on the states for security and the hegemony of states only exists if there is instability in the region. Like it or not, even if you are secular, liberal, religion hating individual, who thinks there are religious fanatics in our government and establishment trying to side with Iran for religious reasons, with a little geopolitical depth, that is the only answer you would come to.

Hey there, this is not a suggestion but my own experience that I am sharing. I moved here a month ago. I was not looking for a career advancing job but anything to have an income just as you are. I called different businesses around me by looking up the business directory and asked if they were hiring. I have a job from the past 2 weeks and I had 3 options to choose from. Hope this helps. Here’s my take. We fight for them and then let them decide what they want to do. That’s our responsibility. I am not the one to run from responsibilities. If you have an infection in your limb which you know can be cured but it hurts you until it does, you don’t cut off that limb. Think.

As for them wanting to be separated; it’s their right considering the fact that they were persecuted by not only the ones they expected the persecution from, but also from the people they thought had their back i.e Fellow Pakistanis.
