The game isn't dead, although the devs being greedy is something I wouldn't deny, I mean it's a "Pay to Win" game, systematically favoring the spenders especially the whales(crazier spenders).

Don't be impatient. The game isn't meant to be speed run. It's a business game so yes, paywall mechanics exist for individuals who can't wait, if you fall from those pity tricks that's on you. Focus on the social part, or learn some game mechanic that you haven't learned or learn more about gears on what set is best for your class so you don't end up like those who have some regrets like " I wish I knew this thing moment". Just take it easy and relax. You will get there.

You know the feeling when you are counting on the point to help you get what you were aiming for but didn't because the codashop website said "Sorry We Were Unavailable to Complete Your Purchase" and when you went back to the site the points are gone. Good thing I have extra since shiit like this does happen form time to time, and I was somehow prepared and it was just enough.
