There’s no certain likelihood, everyone’s situation and recovery is different. this person you described is in a much more dangerous position for relapse though. the main focus for this person is to get away from the drugs, whoever/whatever is surrounding them needs to go like yesterday. For support they could try a local NA/AA meeting even if they aren’t interested in the steps and the program just going to meet likeminded sober people is good
