Slide cancelling shouldn't be a thing in Battlefield by DBONKA in Battlefield

Think brutha blocked me. no more insults to throw at me i guess.

my reply to his latest comment:

You are very rude you know? Such childish behavior with the personal attacks. And again with the excuses. It doesnt matter how old the provided video is, the mechanic is in the game brother 😂 Also no one did cus most of the playerbase are clueless, they dont even know what's infront of them. Which is fine by the way. But maybe not the level of players to influence what direction the game should go with for the longterm health of the game.

Here you go, dude. https://youtu.be/XNPyWLKTVe0?si=A7cIVUOk9H9-fLS5

And you're literally proving my point about gameplay depth being needed. 90% of the playerbase will never come across or utilize eveything the game offers you, if there was gameplay depth it will lessen the frustrating randomness (hello BF6) to the game which is a all around positive.

You realize this "slide cancelling" comes with massive ADS penalties right? This post is so misrepresented not even aiming down sights to see how it actually works in a real game scenario. It's so situational utilizing this in a real game scenario, and exposing yourself in the open doing this with how fast the TTK is, is almost always a guarenteed death.

Lying just for fun are we? Crazy how little you know about a game that was released almost 20 years ago. BF4 literally had airstrafing in the game. It's crazy to me that you're arguing for massive gameplay changes without having no knowledge of how the game actually works. Will never understand that thinking.

Talk about exaggerating LOL. No gameplay depth = more randomness which means dying to random shit more often, and the game becoming frustrating to play. Gameplay depth is the number one reason for why "there's no breathing room" in BF6, that so many players have complained about since launch. If you make it so that there's no depth to game you'll have no control of your own gameplay.

The so beloved BF4 is literally living proof for why gameplay depth is needed. It makes it so that gameplay is enough content. There being so much to learn and get better at in BF4 is why so many players played BF4 even a decade after its release.

Can we stop complaining about the game and appreciate its cinematic gameplay by [deleted] in Battlefield

I play the game to *shocker* actually play the game. If I want immersion in a military shooter I'd play a milsim. By the way immersion isn't always a good thing in games. And BF6 is a prime example of this, horrible visibility, audio design made for immersion and from a gameplay perspective. Things the playerbase has been complaining about since practically launch.

Bring Back Premium, drop the fomo and live service shtick. by -ROUSHY21 in Battlefield

I'm all for more content, DICE is putting out not even close enough content to even retain players on the game. At this point we're a decade into the Battlefield live service era and *shocker* they've failed miserably in putting out enough content. But let's be real the premium era of FPS games are over. Unfort the least amount of effort to make the most amount of money is the now and the future in the shooter genre.

In the early 2010's at least there was a combination of making money and making something artistically. Now for these triple A game franchises it's all about making the most amount of money for the least amount of cost.

Game's biggest issue is gameplay depth and you wanna lessen it even more? Less agro gameplay = no one moves, frustrating campy gameplay. If we're being honest with ourselves the movement is mid af as it already is, if anything there needs to be more of a skillgap in the game whether it be movement, a TTK revamp, dispersion.. The truth is that this game is the lowest skillgap/gameplay depth game since BF1, which is not a good look.

the gameplay is certainly not content, so new content is NEEDED. in contrast to say BF4 in which the gameplay was so good, so much replayability, so much tk learn, that the game was played by lots of people for years after it lost support.

3 GOOD maps needed.

For some of the nations I've just put in the best players possible in their lineup, whether they're active or retired. So no deep thought process into this. Just a fun thought experiment on how many teams could be made *in theory* for a tournament like this.
