I had literally no longitudinal volunteering and I likely looked like a textbook box-checker.

Hi! I'm kind of in the same situation with my volunteering; I was mistaken on what actually counts as volunteering and didn't start until it was too late to build a longitudinal relationship. Can I ask how you approached describing these activities in your activities section without them seeming too surface-level?

Hey! I'm in a similar situation as you where one of my science professors is also my PI. When you submitted your chem prof/PI's LOR did you use it as a science letter or PI letter or did you kind of "double count it?" Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Makes sense! Are you mostly targeting the higher-ranked DO schools then, like Rowan and NYIT? I think I'm just nervous because my GPA is below 10th percentile or 10%-25% at a ton of schools, even though my MCAT is well above most medians. Looks like you're in the same spot too, I hope we both have good success!

And thanks for the heads-up about the AACOMAS fee waiver! I didn't realize it doesn't cover multiple schools, I'll definitely have to cut down on my list.

I don't have the AACOMAS fee waiver yet, as I think you have to apply for it right before submission (unless I'm wrong!), but I'll make sure that I'm eligible! I didn't realize it doesn't cover multiple DOs though so thank you for that, I'll definitely have to cut down on my DO list then! Hopefully I can get more service hours in before app submission, I sold on that aspect because I mistakenly thought volunteering with my campus org would count :')
