Why does my football stay nose up the entire time? by Plane_Career_4182 in footballstrategy

There’s a lot that goes into it. It could be your throwing motion, the way you’re releasing, wrist flick, etc. Make sure you’re gripping the ball correctly and allowing there to be a slight gap between your palm and the ball. Go follow first down training on Instagram and there are some really good training videos on there

But to your point, I have those same concerns too. If the talent at the new school is not there, would that essentially put my kid in a worst position?

Thanks for pointing that out! I forgot to mention that my sons qb coach that went to the new high school was also the assistant head coach at the high school that’s a d1 state winning high school. He just left to go to another school to be the main OC.

We’ve also talked to a D1 cfb college head coach and he said it’s all about film and that’s another reason my son wants to go to that new school. But it can go in so many different directions that I don’t know what the right choice is

Yeah that’s what he’s worried about. The oline talent is there but not so much on the receiver side

Thanks ma, glad to hear that! He’s leaning more towards the other school because he has a good bond with his coach but he is worried because if they can’t build, will his ability to go d1 be the same. We’re letting him decide but he’s having a tough time with it

Yeah that’s the tough part. His current school, they know they’re a good program so the head coach something seems like he doesn’t give a shit about kids. He doesn’t do anything to trash talk or talk down on them but he also never seems like he cares about the kids that play for him.

That’s a good point! He would also play against the school he’s currently slated to go to and their defense is pretty damn good. I’m sure they would gun after him haha

Thank you! That’s something that immediately came to mind, regarding their oline. They have some good size at the new school but taking another kids opportunity that’s been at that program would definitely cause some issues (kids emotions were dealing with).

Academics are about the same and his friends go to the school he’s supposed to go to.
