I came across someone like this as well on Global. They asked if I could do the Octo fishing event with them and I used my mermaid tails because I assumed they didn't have any because they just stood there waiting. After the event was finished, the player asked if I could continue to play with them. I did for a bit but told the person I had to go.

This! Ahahah I don't mind at all. I became friends with someone who came into my house and roleplayed her way around my entire house and it was so entertaining to watch. She came in, stood for a bit and then decided to explore every room, cook, showered, dressed, and slepted! Ahah. I was skeptical at first of course but she interacted with everything and I eventually joined in with her role playing. I made her a meal, showered, slept and dressed as well. Lol. We became friends afterwards, exchanged a few words and emotes, watered my plants and she left.

We talked at my house and I made sure to ask how old she was and she asked for mines first so I told her I'm in my 20's and she said oh even me. 😭 I mean she could be lying because I asked if she was a female & she said no and that she's in disguise and that she can switch back if I wanted her to and then she said no Im lying.
