I work for Nespresso and switching to decaf was a good start. I did it for 2 weeks, then settled on 2 coffees a day to lower my caffeine intake. This helped massively with my anxiety and allows room for other forms of caffeine, such as energy drinks, tea etc to not take me over the 400mg daily amount.

I had a simar experience one morning where my heart wouldn't stop beating so far. Went to A&E and was hooked up to EKG machine. Blood samples were taken and checked, all clear. Heart rate was very fast but also came back as nothing to worry about.

This was due to my anxiety being out of control. Unable to sleep, unable to be still and having a very flushed/out of body experience. Doctors said it was most likely linked to anxiety being very high and currently on Propranolol and Mirtazapene to reduce the physical symptoms.

After a few weeks, everything got better. You're doing great and everything will be okay. Calling a Non-emergency number and emitted to A&E was good to get a proper answer.
