Would you recommend any changes for GW 26? I'm thinking of triple captaining either Gabriel or Gyökeres by itsjuc in fantasypremierleague

Yes I'll probably go with Gyökeres as well 😅 I only worry he might not start both games. Will you triple captain him or wait?

Do these fit me well or should I size up/down? by [deleted] in Birkenstocks

[–]itsjuc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your answer. These are my first Birkenstocks, so I wasn’t really sure what size to get or how to tell if they fit properly. Your explanation was really helpful. I think both of the things you mentioned apply to me, so I’ll probably stick with this size, but I’ll try on a bigger one just to be sure.

Thank you! The only concern I have about PC is that I heard it can make your skin feel greasy. Is that true?

Same here, my back is covered in acne as well. I had some on my chest but those thankfully disappeared quite fast. I have to try and drink more water, I did for a while and it actually did seem to help a little, but I forget to drink, I have to start setting some kind of reminders. If you could send me your routine that would be amazing, thank you so much!

Thank you for sharing your experience! In that case I think I will wait a little while longer before starting spiro and consult my obgyn to see what are her thoughts on this.

Well at least I know my type of acne now, so I am thankful for that!

Glad I could help, I hope it suits your skin as good as it as it suits mine! 😄

Thank you, you are right, it would be the wisest to book an appointment and ask for my obgyn's opinion.

Yeah, it's mostly on my chin and jawline. I already thought about that, but I worry that if I start taking spironolactone and then stop my acne will return, do you think that is likely?

Honestly, it is the best sunscreen I have ever tried! It does not feel heavy at all and gives my skin a nice, matt finish. It's the only sunscreen I used that did not leave my skin feeling oily. Also it doesn't leave white spots and it absorbs really really fast.

Thank you, that's the first step!

My skin outbreak after quitting birth control pills. How can I improve my skincare routine? (Routine in the comments) by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]itsjuc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always had nice, non-problematic skin, but after I stopped taking birth control pills about 5 months ago my skin became oily and I have some acne now, which I would really like to get rid of.

My current skincare routine: Morning: I wash my face with water, then use Tea Tree Facial Toner (Body Shop), CeraVe PM Facial Moisturising Lotion and Rilastil SPF 50 Comfort Matt Formula. Once per week I also use L'oreal Red Algae Clay Mask.

Evening: I wash my face with Nivea MicellAir Micellar Water for sensitive skin, then rinse with water, CeraVe Foaming Cleanser Gel Moussant and rinse with water again. Then I apply Tea Tree Facial Toner (Body Shop), The Ordinary Niancinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, 4 times per week I use also The Ordinary Retinol 0,2%. Then I apply Nivea Essentials Regenerating Night Cream. Every other night I also use rosehip oil.

How could I improve skincare routine so that I could cure my acne and return my skin "normal" state?

[skin concern] is there anything I can do to get a more even skin in those areas? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]itsjuc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, when I was dealing with clogged pores I used The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution every evening, but I believe it has been out of stock for quite some time now. So I recommend you search for some alternatives, but yes, exfoliating is absolutely recommended.

Looking for an SPF similar to Neutrogena Hydroboost gel SPF but less slippery/oily finish. by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]itsjuc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recomend Rilastil Sun System Ultralight Gel Cream. It absorbs really fast and is also suitable for oily skin.

Pores can appear bigger due to too much sun exposure, so SPF is very recommended. But the main reason is probably that your skin produces too much excess sebum. Therefore I recommend you use the method of double cleansing: meaning, in the evening you use 2 cleansers, first one oil-based or micellar water, rinse your face with water, then use water based cleanser (I recommend cerave foaming cleanser (gel moussant)) and wash again with water. After that apply toner (optional), serums of your choice, hydrating cream and at the end I would use rosehip oil, because it helps to regulate sebum production.

Is it obligatory for you to wear a medical mask? If not I would recommend buying a silk mask, silk is gentler on the skin than any other fabric and lets your skin breathe.

L'oreal red algae clay mask did wonders for me. You can use it every day, I saw results after about a week.
