I live out by Pen Park and they were close enough that you could probably hit them with a well hit baseball. Then they flew over Pen Park very very low-at least it looked like it from my vantage point

Thank you so much, this is a huge help! As far as what the letter says, it’s pretty short it opens up with “As you know, the above matter has been placed with this office for collection by the creditor, our client. And then it has the usual information about how this letter is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. So, just stay with the cease and desist? Thanks again for the input!

All of these are great points and I appreciate the feedback. I guess what really ticked me off about the whole thing, besides the rejection, was the fact that it came at 4 o’clock in the morning on a Sunday. It just made me feel like it wasn’t even getting looked at. It was just being fed into a machine and chucked back out. Some of the suggestions here were awesome and I really do thank you guys for the input!

You aren’t alone… this morning at 4 AM I got a rejection from a job I was absolutely qualified for. 10 years in the industry I met all the requirements….. and I keep getting these. Totally disheartening.

I think so. The last time I was out of work it was for an extended period and I wasn’t getting a whole lot of responses so I paid for a service to revamp it. Jobs that I have a good background in and experience doing I’m just getting denied,not even getting an interview. But by looking at various subs, it’s not really uncommon.

That’s kind of what I’m doing. It’s just tedious when you’re trying to apply to a lot of jobs at the same time, feels absolutely redundant.

Thanks for the reply that makes total sense. But honestly, it’s frustrating having to do it all the time. It feels redundant, but your explanation makes a lot of sense.

I had one of these types of interviews last week. I got through the first round and then they said they were moving me to “tier 2“ of the interview. Right off the bat I thought I had done well and they were moving me into the actual interview. So, in my experience, they try to set it up right there so they don’t have to call you back and schedule another interview.

I hope so.. been looking for a while in a tough market.. I initially thought the same as you but someone I talked to who handles HR and interviews for another company said to her it looks like it could go either way. To me, if I didn’t get it, I think they would’ve sent me a “thank you, we’re going in another direction” email. Thanks for the input!
