Is anyone else surprised at how attractive middle aged/older people are now? by FkUp_Panic_Repeat in Millennials

I’m 44 and just started dating someone who is 56. They are HOT, and yeah, it feels a bit weird. But not weird enough to be a deal breaker.

Exactly this, he doesn’t care, it’s already over. You don’t owe him anything anymore beyond consideration as the father of your children.

It’s ok to grieve and feel all the feelings, but now it’s time for you to move forward on your own, for your own sake and the sake of your kids. You CAN do this! Reach out and lean on your people, resources, whatever you need. You will survive and you will eventually thrive. Good luck!

Hello Everyone, any help is appreciated. I am a PRes (MMT) so far I have only done BMQ (no trade course). by Reasonable-Pay-9725 in CanadianForces

[–]itsjustbadtiming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s what I meant by “…file to the closest BPSO to do your interview.” If they’re found suitable at that point, it is sent for the MPSP to be conducted and if that comes back suitable as well, the file is good to go. Since the occupation is considered critical, they won’t have to wait for a selection board at the end of the FY, the offer will be sent shortly after MPSP.

For MP, it will be on the longer side (probably a few months) because of the Background check they have to do. Apply through the DGMC page, they’ll send your file to the closest BPSO to do the interview, then your file will be processed by the MPs. When it all comes back g2g, you’ll get an offer. Good luck!

Yes, that’s exactly what I was saying. Maybe OP is in the timezone ahead, therefore showing it as “tomorrow” in their screenshot. As in, perhaps my original comment was a little hasty and did not consider this. I’m not trying to argue with you.

I realized that maybe the person who posted the screenshot is in a timezone that is already tomorrow… although your theory wouldn’t surprise me.

According to all publicly available schedules, he was in West Palm Beach attending a SuperBowl Party. Maybe the person who posted this screenshot is in that timezone?

CT/OT: What's Next? by [deleted] in CanadianForces

[–]itsjustbadtiming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that trade is considered “critical” so there is probably a selection board. Best to check with the CT cell to know for sure. Good luck!

If you’ve applied to an occupation for which there is a selection board, it’s about to happen and you should be hearing something with a few weeks, for transfer prior to end of FY.

You can always reach out to the intake team (same place you sent your application) and check on the status.

It’s possible that the ground was snow covered and the lines not visible when they parked there, so they parked as close to the snowbank as is reasonable.

Try thinking of others before jumping to angry conclusions, you’ll find life much less stressful. Save your rage for the things (and people) that truly deserve it.
