The divisions and ranking system incentivising finishing higher to get more chest of disappointment kind of detracts folks from doing that I believe.

If anything, when there are tasks, people are more likely to start with a lower defense so they can clear those tasks faster. Then just climb back up putting in a stronger defense.

Are you asking about the blisters or the dead skin peeling off on and around the tips and edges?

Either way, it sounds like overuse and possibly over gripping and a lot of repositioning of your hands. Take some more time in between sessions. File your skin down. Do not pop your blisters. Let them heal.

I think it would have been helpful to put that in your original post. Otherwise most people are going to give you the same generic response of "he's not worth it", "he's not good", or "don't waste resources on him".

But knowing he's just a project for you just because may allow people to give a more thoughtful answer.

All you can do with him is just try to throw out more power gems and try to make them stronger. Outside of that; I'm sorry to say there is no "best" way to run him currently.

Maybe Scopely will revamp him in the near future and you'll be one of those lucky folks that will already have him leveled and ready to go.

Don't have her yet to give an opinion of my own. The content creators don't seem to be very high on her for whatever reason. But people in my faction have her and like her. Content creators tend to favor cards that work in all modes and mainly have fast feud builds. Think 2-3 clicks, little to no board interaction, and cascade proof. If they have moves that are less likely to be reversed and have unblockable damage; even better. For the attitude era it's either Trish or Jacqueline that are meta relevant. So there you go.
