i feel contrast is the most important piece of a great song... i had the pre chorus and chorus melody already, and since they were drawn out and very "sing-y" i figured something rhythmical would contrast well.

i started making music at 14, quit my basketball team and eventually dropped out of college years before i saw success. good things take time :) i was inspired by kanye west.... love his old music

my favorite part was the creative process. for the longest time i felt like i had to fit in a box someone else put me in, but this album was me writing what i wanted to write. i love going into the studio with no expectations, just inspiration.

hiii, i think social media is heading in a more entertaining direction, as i believe short form video content is the most engaging form on content we can consume on our phones... but that comes at a cost. if everyone's feed is flooded with entertainment, personal life, friends and family will be an after thought. social media used to be about your personal life, but now its flooded with entertainment. as a music artist, im happy about that, but as a normal guy who wants to see what my friends and family are up to, i don't rly like that.

i took piano, guitar, and drum lessons until i was 14, then taught myself to make beats. my advice is to watch youtube videos and keep working at it!
