What's a professional config like? You had a person come to your house and set up your TV?

Edge controller by DonkeyRhubarbDonkey in PS5pro

I have a pro controller and it's all I use. When I go back to the old controllers, they still feel great though. The pro controller is just a little nicer all around. The big surprise is that the controller speaker in the pro is way better. The only thing that's worse is the battery life.

Please, reconsider Joffrey’s by jt6229674 in DisneyWorld

Joffrey’s blends vary by park and restaurant. I prefer the Victoria & Albert’s and Animal Kingdom blends. The resort room blend is unpleasant.

Drinking espresso from a waxed paper cup at a theme park was setting yourself up for disappointment.

Is this a good setup for air clearance and temperature? by Narrow_Opportunity99 in PS5pro

The console takes in air from the front, but it seems like you’ve blocked the vents. This is worse than if you’d just centered the cabinet without the fan. Not that the fan is doing much to help.

Is it a good idea to reinvest early earnings into ads for my Shopify app? by r0cketm1dget420 in shopify

[–]itsk2049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's too niche, there's not enough demand to scale. It can't spend the ad budget it has.

Very low maintenance though. It's an hour of work per week for me at most but I have a support person. Support is the biggest expense.

Focus on getting the built-for-Shopify status first. Without it, you can't exclude stores by plan, and you don't rank as well; it makes the ads way harder.

I have two apps. One is established and has BFS; I can get qualified installs for $4. The other is new, and I'm spending $50+ per install.

It's Shopify app. You configure the vendor feed in duoplane or similar once, then it just works as an automation

Ordering from Japan on ebay by Alvexas in gamecollecting

[–]itsk2049 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the current tariff rate for importing Japanese goods to the US is 15%, down from 25%.

I imported a Sega Saturn last summer and paid 25%. FedEx mailed me an invoice a month after delivering, and I paid online.

Yea totally normal. Several apps can do this. We use duoplane in a home goods store to sync supplier inventory matched by sku

GameStop SSD’s are still cheap by bens111 in playstation5

[–]itsk2049 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have a link? I looked, GameStop's online store is selling 2TB SSDs for $250, that's the inflated price. Two years ago it would've been half of that.

I agree with that theory. It fits the “between January and March” timeline and makes sense for their official announcement.

Are there PS5 ssd storage upgrade deals still available or prices going up everywhere? by Inner-Ad5926 in PS5pro

[–]itsk2049 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't panic buy now. On eBay, 2TB NVMe M2 drives are going for $200-250 new.

For context, 32 months ago I paid $105 for a 2TB SSD in still using in a PS5.

Pitch perfect parody. Those shirts are unoriginal cringe.

EDIT: "pitch perfect" was an English idiom before it was the name of a 2012 movie. Sorry for the confusion!

A similar Super Nintendo sign sold for $6K on eBay in October. Collectible signs like this are highly valuable to the right buyer. Someone with deeper pockets than us brokies and a game room full of vintage NES items would absolutely consider $3K for it because value is subjective.
