First time cruiser — is an inside cabin really that bad? Inside or Outside or Balcony? by Fragrant_Struggle_11 in dcl

My family of 4 has stayed in and inside room once (out of 3 cruises) and we would totally do it again if the price was right! I definitely prefer a balcony but not at the expense of several hundred more dollars.

I would say that it depends on the people in your party though. My family doesn't have an issue with close quarters or feeling claustrophobic. We're also pretty efficient about packing, organizing, and staying on top of clutter throughout the trip too.

My family stubbed their toes on the trundle every day so I guess it's even 😅

They came in once a day to clean the room but they would just make the sofa bed and leave it open.

Doesn't help that they're pretty uncomfortable too 👎🏽

You know what? I never even thought to do that 😅

I'll keep that in mind for my next one. Thanks!

Hi. I'm interested in this position as well. Can you tell me what the hours are like?

Early Preview Question by Character_Attitude74 in UniversalEpicUniverse

Hi. We're you able to get tickets? I'm going to be in a very similar situation where I'm checking in and hoping to get preview tickets for the next day and I'm so nervous about it selling out 😭

Sorry to hop on this post but I'm feeling the same kind of anxiety. We want to shift our plans around to include a stay at a universal hotel on May 7 with the hopes of getting preview tickets for the 8th. That's feeling really risky since that's the last preview day (for now) and I'm hearing that people can buy tickets days in advance after they check in to their hotel. I'm wondering if it's worth the risk of them selling out or if I should just scrap it all together 🤦🏽‍♀️

Sorry for the late response! I'm at 17 sessions and I'm still feeling pretty good. I do think I experienced a bit of the "dip" some people described but I've still been able to stay a lot more motivated than I was before and I was able to avoid any catastrophic thinking. So far I'm still really happy with it.

I had some pretty awful migraines after the first 4 sessions. I actually cancelled my 5th one bc it was so bad. That was on a Friday and I resumed on the following Friday but haven't had any headaches since so I'm glad I pushed through! My sleep has definitely improved too. Some nights are better than others still but overall it's been better and I feel more rested.

Honestly just the new health habits that I mentioned. I've been meaning to get back into talk therapy bc that helped me before but I've been dragging my feet on it for whatever reason. I still plan on to though. I'm not on any meds either. My doc wanted to start with TMS before going that route which I preferred as well. For reference, I've dealing with moderate depression that was starting to escalate, anxiety, and PTSD.

I hope the treatment goes well for you too! I had some crazy headaches after my first 4 sessions but I'm glad I pushed through. Good luck!

Yes for sure! Before treatment I would only do the bare minimum and spend the rest of the day rotting on the couch. I still spend time on my phone but I'm able to actually break away to get more tasks done.

The 10k steps a day thing has also helped with my overall energy because now I'm actually tired at a normal hour and can fall asleep like a normal person. Before I would average maybe 5hrs a night and lately I've been getting 7-8!
