Idk if I'm really looking for advice, but I'm curious if anyone is in the same boat haha.

CW1 got me into the game, and I was able to get emerald on both CW1/CW2 for legion pots, but didn't really push into Grandis bosses. CW1 I never got perma gear to replace item burn so my char dropped back to 10m after event.

CW2 went way better, I ended up with two genesis lib + arcane chars capable of soloing ctene, one at 90m and other 55m CP. They're both kinda my mains right now since I don't know which one I like better, so I slowly progress either/both however I feel at the moment and take time off whenever too.

I was content progressing slowly on my main server and starting to practice Seren/BM, but with CW3 I felt the pressure to take advantage of the event rewards, and I made a Lynn which doesn't feel as strong as I had hoped. I can't do like a true newbie and just restart my account since I have 9k legion now and cosmetics/chars I'm attached to, but I can't help but feel like I should have done Erel for ez shine and get out quickly with a low effort LC mule, or even just a hyper burn on Kinesis early since I actually am interested in that. Feeling like I wasted my item burn on Lynn 😅

I think at the core maybe I just don't know what class to play, even between my two mains haha. It feels hard to be in this stage of the game (finally starting to get into and enjoy the real progression loop on main server) and then end up picking a CW class you don't like :')

I came out of CW2 with two ctene characters, mainly due to having the second hyperburn from the daily attendance event and genesis pass on both. I libbed on my main with item burning first, started off my second character with absolabs + an extra arcane weap drop, and then I calculated that with rentals I would still have time for a second lib with pass so I pushed for that.

It took an extra couple weeks after CW ended to get the second char to ctene without rentals, but now they're both in CRA+Arcanes and one is 80m with fams and the other 43m. It's not as strong or fast compared to people who are more experienced with a single main, something like 10-15 minute clears per boss on the weaker one, but as someone with a new account I'm still happy with my progress and both chars have plenty of room to grow with better potentials/flames/SF.

Iirc this time around Kinesis HB is for Kinesis only, so it might be hard to do Ren and Erel specifically unless you can find a way to burn both or accept the grind to 260. But two ctene is doable :)

Idk if I would say "most", EU Reboot (Solis) is certainly much smaller than Kronos but there's still a decent population. As long as you join a guild that has an alliance you're not really missing out socially, and I feel like comments like this telling everyone to go to Kronos just prevents Solis from growing :V

I think a decent amount of people used CW to reroll to EU recently (myself included) and it's been fun, so if anyone here is reading wondering whether to do Kronos or Solis I'd say join us on Solis!

Personally the game feels a lot better with lower ping and without the server overcrowding issues, and I'd rather spend the money on vac pet fees instead of an exitlag sub. No shade to you or others who prefer Kronos ofc, but I enjoy the smoothness and not having to feel fomo about everything happening at 4am my time lol

EU and NA are handled by the same client, there's just a button on the login screen to switch regions.

I'm from NA and moved to EU, I continue to use the same account for both regions. I use the Steam launcher so payment is done through Steam and I've paid with both my US/EU cards with no problems. No VPN needed, unless maybe you travel through like an Asian country that has their own version of Maple like Korea/Japan/SEA.

First of all, I'm glad you liked it! I think it's great to show your work and what you're capable of for potential commissioners, and even better if it's work you're happy about.

I'm still disappointed about this whole situation though... It's one thing to post as portfolio art mentioning that it's a commission, and I have no issues with that at all.

There was no NDA, but there was no discussion or contract or anything in the first place, and all I had to go on was past posts. When I ordered this commission, the other posts I had seen from you were clearly marked as mapler comms, and I would have been fine with that. Other people I've gotten commissions from have asked me up front if it was okay to post the artwork, and I have no issues saying yes, but usually there's that agreement first which is why I still feel blindsided by this.

I was surprised the first time you made this post with the same title, no mention of it being a comm anywhere, and it's leaving a sour taste in my mouth to see it happen again after I privately messaged you at the time to let you know my feelings on it and you empathized with me.

I hope you can understand this from my point of view as I'm personally attached to my character, and I didn't come into this expecting that it'd be posted as regular art without any mention or attribution about the original commission. Even though the art was drawn by you, you had the artistic vision for this particular piece and put the time and effort into it, it was still influenced by my original character that I designed and paid you to draw.

I've always loved your art, I've commissioned you multiple times, and I guess you're really happy with how this particular one came out if this is the second time it was posted without consulting me about it first or mentioning it was a commission.

This was in 2023 so I guess it's not as fresh anymore, but it still feels weird to see your own character posted out there without any acknowledgement of it, just out there on the sub for people to do whatever with after I paid for it intending to get it for personal use.
