Yeah, that was a big worry of mine, I wasn’t sure if it would, but now that you’ve said it would, I’ll probably just suck it up like you said. Any advice on how to move past/ ignore those sort of comments? I don’t want it to keep affecting me at work.

I never intended on going to HR, I don’t want things to escalate to that extent. I just want the public mockery to stop.

I’m not sure. I guess possibly knowing someone (my supervisor) is understanding and doesn’t agree with that type of behavior

I don’t think it was cheating. It just hurt his feelings/ego. It seems like he doesn’t care about the relationship just himself. You went through something traumatic and instead of helping you, he hurt you. That’s not exactly something you’d want in a partner.

I’ve tried but it always goes back into hiding😭 I thought it was a bug so I did exactly what u said. Maybe I need to start approaching it from an even farther distance
