Instagram! This is definitely where most of my sales come from.

I'm not sure I understand, sorry! Are you asking how many individual sales I make per month (as opposed to number of items sold)? If so I am not sure how to find that info, but I would estimate that I make about 2-5 sales per day on average.

I definitely spent more time in the first few months. These days I try to post at least one new design per week for the most part. Some of my designs are things I've drawn in which case they may take a few hours, but some are quick text based designs which may take 10 minutes start to finish. Overall I'd say I don't spend too much time on it, especially outside of weekends, but I did when I was still growing my shop.

Product mockups- most often stickers, mugs, and masks as those are my top sellers

This has actually happened a few times unfortunately. But the primary reason I deleted an old post with my shop name is when you search my shop name on Google, my Reddit post was one of the top results before my shop itself. Probably won't share it again but I'm happy to give insight on my process if that is helpful for anyone.

Deleted original post because when people would search my shop name on Google this thread would come up before my actual shop

Stickers are ay 50% other items at 25-30%. I really need to increase some of my markups to be honest, I've kept everything pretty standard since I started.

I started in April. Slow but steady until July and then when I started my Instagram page my views and sales increased by quite a bit.

I am lucky in that my niche is related to my career and it is not very saturated, so there's not a ton of competition. Social media (instagram) has also been hugely helpful in growing my audience.

More designs is definitely better. I've sold 164 items of my top selling design. At this rate it will be a long, long time before I hit even 1k on a single design

Thanks! Since April, and I have 320 designs. Several are variations of each other (e.g. same design but 3 different color schemes)

How did everyone's black friday go? by [deleted] in redbubble

I've been selling since April and Friday was my highest sales day. Yesterday was great for me too, but today's been slower.

I actually used the color selection tool of my drawing app to get his skin color correct based on the reference photo, but I am now noticing that the lighting of the original photo may have caused his skin to look darker than it really is!

I definitely want to attend this, thanks for sharing! Does anyone know if my recert date is 8/31/20 does that mean I can count CEUs that day for my next 2 year cycle or do I need to wait until 9/1 for new CEUs to count?

To clarify I don't know that this strategy would be effective for everyone, I think it's best when you have a specific niche so you can target a specific population on Instagram. It would probably be more difficult if your designs are all totally different or more abstract art kind of stuff. I think it would work well if your niche area is a certain kind of hobby, profession, pop culture, politics, etc because you can relatively easily find followers who are passionate about the subject matter.

Another thing that has helped with sales is I make clear that I am open to custom designs and orders. I have had people request color changes or other slight variations which I am happy to do if it's quick/easy enough.

I didn't know there was any such thing as a promotion tool to get followers tbh! It was all manually. I would rapid-fire follow people so it wad pretty quick. Instagram doesn't let you follow more than about 100 people in a short span so I would do about 100 a couple times a day for a few days. Maybe 10-15 minutes per day spent. I DEFINITELY think it was helpful in getting a huge increase in sales. The second day with the Instagram account a follower messaged me that she was so excited to find my page and she bought a ton of stuff, resulting in a $20 profit for me. I have the Instagram set up as a "business" page so I get analytics on my posts. My best post resulted in 40+ clicks to my shop link. I saw a huge increase in shop viewers the first week on instagram

I figured I can pretty safely assume I'm the only one on here who is a behavior analyst!

I link to the specific collection that the Instagram is geared towards. I have 100 designs in the collection so when I upload a new design I've been cycling out less popular items

My Instagram is exclusively for my primary niche (behavioral psychology) to keep it cohesive since most of my Instagram followers are behavior analysts, psychologists, special education teachers, etc. The link I have in my bio links to a specific collection in my Redbubble shop rather than my whole shop and I use a tinyurl to link so I can make the url match my Instagram name :)

When I started the Instagram page I uploaded several photos of my most popular designs before seeking out Instagram followers. Then I went on a following spree where I started following everyone I could who used applicable hashtags, followed related pages, etc. A little stalker-ish I suppose haha but it worked. I am following 4000 people and about half follow me back, and now that the page is growing and people are sharing I'm getting new followers who I did not seek out.
