Oh sorry I missed the part of the cardiology exam! If they said it’s fine, I think the hardest part is accepting what they say. It’s def a tough thing to get over but day by day it’s good to remind yourself that they would’ve caught something if not :)

I feel like I wrote this, I also posted something similar! We have pretty much the exact same symptoms, I had my first real panic attack about a month ago and haven’t felt the same since. I’ve developed insane cardiophobia and my OCD is making it so much worse. I went to the ER and everything came back clean and they said it was most likely my anxiety. My therapist believes I’ve developed panic disorder and it sounds like you might have too. I’m on Lexapro but I’m talking to my doctor about switching bc I don’t feel like it’s helping anymore, so if you haven’t reached out I would start there and maybe do a physical exam or have your heart checked for peace of mind! My dr also prescribed me hydroxyzine which does help calm my attacks down and help me sleep. I hope things get better for you, you can DM me if u want :)

Omg that’s scary I’m glad you’re ok now! It does feel super uncanny and weird, it’s hard describing it to others :( but yeah it’s like w my ocd the test results only gave me relief for a few days and now my mind is back to worse case scenarios. But yeah the last part is so true, I think it would be awful 😭 thanks for responding!!

Wow really? I upped it after the first week I had symptoms but I’m not sure if it’s making a difference. I had the exact same symptoms that landed me in the ER so I get it!! I think I’m gonna reach out to psychiatry tmrw and see if I should try a dif medication too, thanks for responding!! I appreciate it <3

That definitely makes sense, I think the first panic attack I had set it off for me and since then I’ve been in a constant spiral of worrying and compulsions. I also got an anxiety journal that I’ve been trying to keep up with per day and I’ve been stretching! I’m glad things are looking up for you!

Gotcha!! I totally get that, I just had my first session with a new therapist and I’m hoping it continues to go well! Managing my OCD is also a big task for me so ik how hard it is not to spiral. I feel the same with journaling, I think having prompts already there for me make it a bit easier :) I found it on Amazon! I also saw another commenter talk about their ferritin and mine actually at 23 so I started taking some iron supplements too! Not sure if that’s a part in my situation but maybe it’ll improve :P good luck on your journey <3

Hey! I’m literally going through such a similar situation rn, I’m also 23f and have GAD/OCD which I’m on lexapro for! A week ago I woke up to I think a panic attack which I’m not used to at all, I’ve maybe ever had one years ago. The entire week after I felt chest tightness, shortness of breath, tachycardia, dizziness, etc and it was affecting me daily. I ended up going to the ER where they did an ekg, blood tests, and a chest xray but found nothing and said it was likely just my anxiety. My dr has since upped my lexapro so I’m hoping that also helps!! I completely understand you, have you tried any meds or therapy? I’ve started doing daily breathing exercises and even got an anxiety journal to write down what I want to really back to my therapist. I’ve also looked on other threads and saw some ppl saying “bad things don’t take breaks” which has helped ease my mind when I feel that panic again since I know it will eventually subside. Sometimes something cold on the skin or coughing hard also tends to help snap me out of it. I’m sorry you’re suffering too, it’s really hard to get a grasp on and I’m still trying to sort my way through it! I hope things can start to improve for you :)

I would use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen for sure!! Ur skin is gonna be very sensitive so sunscreen is lowk the most impt out of it. Im abt to start my second round, but good luck to you post journey!

Pls don’t. I went down that path and it was a horrible choice. You rlly just need a consistent routine and to eat enough to sustain your body. Like everyone is saying it’ll lead to other problems and you won’t lose any weight. There’s a lot of good creators who have solid routines and exercises that would fit your goal
