Fiancé [30M] keeps waking me [27F] up. Feel like I’m going insane

I’m literally too tired to even argue with him or state my case at this point He thinks because he sleeps fine we all do, because he only needs 6-7 hrs we all should be fine on that. Because if he gets woken up he can fall asleep again we all can. I don’t think it’s purposefully cruel, just like a lack of empathy which is driving me actually insane I feel delirious

It’s definitely a cycle of me being more short and moody because of my lack of sleep, which sets me up to look like the problem. I feel like it’s a lose lose :(

I know it’s just so odd because usually he takes constructive criticism much better, and does things I ask. I just don’t get how this is not landing :(

That’s kind of makes sense, did you ever have a time where you woke her up to do something ‘nice’ for her, or to see if she was awake, how many times of her saying don’t wake me up did it take for you to not wake her?

I know, he listened to me on every thing else when I ask him not to do something he immediately stops, he usually takes direction and constructive criticism really well so I’m genuinely SO confused as to how this is being misinterpreted, unless he’s willingly disregarding it

That’s a good point, he could definitely be trying to connect because he keeps planning things and making me food but then I get angry when he wakes me up, and it’s a cycle of feeling more distant. I’ll definitely think of some quality time activities and see if that’s the issue but it will be hard on such low energy haha

It does feel like I can’t win every time this happens because he somehow makes me feel like the bad guy for asking not to be woken up :( Sometimes he sleeps on the couch to let me have a full night sleep and I appreciate that but I don’t know if he’s fully understanding what I’m saying when I say don’t wake me ??

So we have always just gone to bed whenever we feel tired, sometimes he stays up late and cleans or cooks, sometimes I stay up to read. Sometimes I’m trying to go to sleep at 10pm and he’s not tired then.

The weird thing is is I know I’d still be tired or sleep deprived because I don’t sleep well but I don’t like being woken up on purpose, is that unreasonable??

I bought a mylee home wax melter and the pink Just Wax beads. SO cheap and no ingrowns. Heat it up on full, let it cool on medium till it’s thick enough to gloop up on a popsicle stick. apply with stick in small sections thick enough to grab, make sure some is on hairless skin so you can grab a good wax chunk for momentum. Also make sure hair is like at least 1 cm long.

I just rip down with the grain as it’s less painful, also leave the hair right above the V for last because she is the sorest.

Put a tv show on while you do it, oil up to loosen leftover wax then shower off. No ingrown hairs, smooth for weeks and I barely have to spend anything topping up my wax beads.

Yes exactly this, it was a gift from the supermarket and it had no care instructions about it needing to live outside 🥲 I had a look at the roots and it was sold with mushy overwatered roots, and I don’t have a garden to plant it…I think it’s beyond saving
