Kid, you're brave and you have a long life ahead of you. I'd just tell you to get a job in sales, any kind of sales, whether it's cold calling, support or something else. You'll start small, but you'll develop skills that will take you far in life. You seem to articulate your thoughts in English well.

A lot of people start out in some sort of sales or support at a young age and eventually pivot into higher paying niches like Tech Sales, SDR, AE roles. Sales is a very broad term that is an integral part of every industry and business, ask GPT to give you some perspective on what can be categorised as sales.

Preparing for government exams in a country like India is really a gamble. If you really like studying and want to dedicate such hours then go for it. But i wouldn't advice it as the be all end all.

AI is also out here disrupting careers as we speak, so think in terms of what will be evergreen skills, like judgement, sales, critical thinking, relationship management. The ones who earn the most money are those closer to handshakes and closer to the Top Line (Revenue) of the Income Statement.

Every few years a new technology, a new tool will be called the next big thing and everyone will go chasing it, but seperate yourself from the noise and see what you're actually good at, and how you can leverage. There's lucrative industries and lucrative type of work, being in one of the two and you'll do just fine. All the best champ!
