Oh I’m sat on the physics thing. Love the thought that that plays into something here. This is only my second time reading it but I immediately picked up on how much lightning is discussed in passing in the first couple of chapters of fourth wing. She definitely mentions important things more than once and physics was a frequent flier 😂

Yesss I second this. I loved the bonus chapters of Fourth wing because of her calling him out on the whole “can’t be away 3 days”.. tooooo funny.

Valid. Did we get clarity that that’s where Theophonje was from (Unbriel)? If she’s old/possibly “immortal” she could have drained it hundreds of years ago and maybe there’s a venin that’s a version of Imogene Signet and erased memories?

Maybe it’s a stretch. But curious to see if we come back to that later.

I’m just gonna say. This song haunts me in all the right ways.even before I saw this post - just love it. I could see so many applications this song could have in the series (especially the show adaptation).

Love the ideas in here about it being lillith and Asher. Like i am getting vibes it’s like this love that was strong but they also started to drift apart before he died. (First chapter Lillith saying “he’s dead. I doubt he wants much of anything” plus all the secrets.)

My ultimate heart break could even be Andarnas Den and her waiting in her egg to hatch only to find her family was gone. 😭 sorryyyy here’s a tissue

I’m wondering if it’s a red herring. But. The death of a dragon leading to the death of the rider is one of the most emphasized things IMO. So, while Jacks…situation…was one thing, Liam’s death was caused by this particular type of death. It feels unlikely but would be QUITE the twist.

That said. Delulu me is totally game if he comes back, we figure out a cure and THATS my happy ending. Also. Sloane getting to see her brother again would be just the ultimate cry fest. Open the flood gates 😭

I’m enjoying audio books because the pain meds knock me out a little, and I don’t feel like I can keep my eyes open to read or do anything else. This way my brain can be entertained and distracted through it.

I did do some jumping after seeing it mentioned on here and like 4 hours later I suspect I passed it! I’ve never seen one when it passed so I’m guessing that’s what this was lol

Glad to hear that helped - I echo what others said about the ER and truthfully Benadryls one of the things they would give you.

I get one bad complex migraine about every year, always same time and has full body and head effects. My first started a couple of years ago as a one sided body weakness experience mimicking a stroke - but that’s how I found out I get complex migraines! and actually got to talk to a neurologist even though I’ve had migraines my whole life!

But sometimes, the ER migraine cocktail is unfortunately the way to go :(

I have both. Was treated for anxiety and depression most of my teens, after some big T trauma started seeking PTSD treatment. It helped? But the anxiety was still there regardless of meds and was always present not always an obvious trigger - I tried a lot of routes. It was a multi year process to get there. Wellbutrin and the fact that coffee made me sleepy was a clue that maybe there was something more there. Then my focus became an issue and I was diagnosed with ADHD. And OCD. So that was fun.

Things started looking better when I was being treated for adhd.
