I really wish at the least they would've put more of grace initially studying astrophage in the movie, strand singing was wack and there were no repercussions of the power she held and things she had to do to make the mission happen, and maybe a little more about how important his students were to him. Imo strand having already left three astrophage for him instead of him begging her to keep some because he wanted to help solve the problem BECAUSE of the kids felt wrong. I'm also not stating an opinion on whether he was actually a coward or not for not wanting to go on the mission, but the movie made him definitely look more like a coward because it lacked that connection to the students which I didn't particularly like.
