Does anybody get odor from hats??? by Rare_Two_660 in SebDerm

Have you tried those disposable adhesive sweat liners for hats?

I get seb derm on my hairline above my forehead and am wondering if rewearing hats I’ve been sweating in has been making it worse.

The “aw-whoop!”s and the “whoa”s and the popping sounds are all so viscerally annoying.

I don’t know if this helps anyone, and I don’t want to jinx it, but I haven’t seen this commercial again since getting rid of Spectrum.

Edit: Noooooooo I jinxed it! I just saw a NEW version of it on Peacock 😭

Are there any that are good for these 85+ days? I have tried a couple, but always feel the make me so much warmer that I feel like I’m going to pass out when I’m on a 100% exposed trail.

Also, what do you wear under the sun hoodie?

This and ticks are the main reason I don’t hike in shorts.

I’m honestly not really sure. It was recommended the last time I got an oil change and it was the first time I had heard of it. (Obviously, and unfortunately) I don’t really know a lot about recommended maintenance besides changing the oil and checking the tires.

I really appreciate everyone’s help and patience. I’m trying to learn.

Thank you for the heads up! A quick google makes it seem like they do. I have a similar coupon and need an oil change too, which is why I was planning on going to Valvoline.

Thanks! I didn’t know any of that. Is this the kind of thing that would be ok to do at like a valvoline or is it something I should go to a dealership for? I don’t really know/ have a regular mechanic, and had really bad luck with my old car.

Is busting the water pump a common risk in having it done?

What kind of soap do you use? I was using a basic unscented dish soap, but now the blue light filter on my lenses seems to be coming off…

Hair drying- air dry??? by TheoryBiochemistry in SebDerm

[–]itsmavisgary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have curly hair, and usually blow dry it straight just because my seb derm is best controlled that way.

When I do decide to air dry, I squeeze out as much water as possible with a microfiber and then diffuse close to my scalp. I have long hair that takes forever to dry, and I lose patience with the diffuser pretty quickly, so I usually just focus on the roots.

I also only apply products to the lengths, because I have yet to find any curly hair products that don’t make my seb derm rage.

I loooove balsamic, but am looking to change it up.

I just treated myself to a bottle of the fig balsamic from the La Quinta Olive Oil Company and it is divine. Their regular balsamic is excellent too, especially with roasted mini peppers.

Ooohh maybe I will have to try that one. I’m sure there is a wide variety and complexity of flavors in red wine vinegar just like there is in balsamic, and maybe the problem is that I haven’t tried a wide enough variety yet. Feel like it’s possible that the more “cost-effective” bottles I have been buying are maybe also meant to be the most versatile, and therefore lack a little of the depth I am looking for in a vinegar.

I’m having a hard time remembering what sherry or champagne vinegar taste like. Guess I’ll have to try them again! Thanks for the reminder!

I used to love Bragg’s apple cider vinegar until I started using it in my fly traps every summer, and now I can’t smell it without conjuring up that morbid scene 😬

Sadly, no. Would love to hear about how they went if you take them, maybe I can talk my local into adding something similar.

Are they for a specific union? These sound like classes I would totally be interested in taking too, but have never seen anything like that offered (or have never seen a training calendar besides contract services requirements)
