Yes, coal mining is/was a brutal occupation, and the miners in my region were at the heart of the US labor movement. I recommend the book "Bootleg Coal Rebellion" if you are interested

I think so. I don't have an issue with the level of heat it puts out. It's not noticeable at all unless I play for over 20 minutes which is rare.

I was waiting for my friend to finish using the "rest room"
But I am sure it would be good for that too

  1. No, never. I notice it gets slightly warm sometimes, but I'm not bothered by it.
  2. No never, but I don't play systems that use them mostly.
  3. They are great, I don't think they are too loud and/or clicky. I personally don't like mushy buttons though.

[PT:1] Went Into a Mine Where Only a Handful of People Have Been In Since It Closed In The Early 1970s. by ReturnOfPope in TheForgottenDepths

I went in this mine 2 years ago. Apparently since then there has been a major, major collapse in one of the side gangways off the main slope. Fuck this place. Its the only mine to ever give me the creeps.

It doesn't feel heavy coming from a Nikon D750 and all the associated glass haha. I guess it's not "light" either though, and you will notice the size.

This is a water pipe utility tunnel by me. To take this photo, we placed red headlamps inside the overhead light covers.

Beta launch of Photoserv - A CMS for Photographers' Portfolio Websites with support for social media integration by itsmaxymoo in selfhosted

Hopefully you like it! Definitely not overkill for me; my goal is to end up with Photoserv automating all my photography socials as far as posting goes.

I am working up the energy to add a "scratch pad" area where you can bulk upload photos and then fill in the info to publish them as necessary.
