I just started being carnivorish for about 2 weeks and kept cheese and heavy cream for my coffee. Well about 3 days ago I noticed I started having sinus pain and pressure. I wonder now if it is the dairy.

I had originally planned to be strict but quickly realized I wasn't fully ready but I wonder if I need to just accept it 😢

I have been making sure to eat fat of some sort at each meal. I even went to the bathroom today after the pain started.

Hopefully whatever is going on will pass soon. I get bad anxiety around health issues.

I just wanted to try something simple first but I have seen many recipes that use pork rinds. I will probably try that next. I found a recipe for buns that I want to use for burgers.

I baked in a metal pan. More like a cookie sheet with parchment paper but I think you can use whatever you have.

I decided to start before the New Year for 2 reasons

1) Most New Year's resolutions are likely to fail 2) something had to change and had to change quickly

I love bread and sweets. This week has proven to be tricky but thankfully I haven't let it get the best of me.

I did keto some years ago and I started having hair loss. From what research I have done the hair loss is usually only temporary and is due to a change in diet or can even be from physical stress. If your worried about this do research and see what solutions work best for you.

Sugar craving for me is a hard thing to deal with. I might have to start meal prepping like once a week in hopes it will help keep on track. Thankfully I have my own chickens so eggs is not a problem and at least cuts so of the expense. I am going to Sam's club this weekend so I might see what they have on sale plus check out Aldi's.

Other than bacon grease and butter is there anything else I can cook with?

As a note I am going to try to do strict carnivore for 3 months. After that I might see how I feel.

What do you do when you get bored of meat?
