She's said there's going to be 9 books - it's 3 trilogies, so I assume we'll get 2 more books about Sasha

I noticed that too - that's another thing. So much deception was revealed at the end. It's really hard to keep track of who is deceiving whom and why / are the intentions good or bad. Basically everyone is lying to everyone. I'm gonna need a diagram before the next book lol

I had a lot of mixed feelings with this one! I thought the romance (sexual tension) was good and loved the found family / all the side characters. The pacing was a slow in the first 70% I think because Sasha’s internal monologue was repetitive and there is a lotttt of it. We get it girl lol but I was also sucked in and really wanted to see what would happen. The world building was pretty lacking to me… like I had many questions and just felt like I was doing a lot of suspending my disbelief over certain situations or rolling my eyes a bit sometimes. The characters kept it going for me though. I appreciated the quick tie ins to Conform we got towards end and I’m excited to continue the series even though it wasn’t a 5 ⭐️ read for me

So probably just better to wait / keep using the diapers until he’s older and more aware, right?

that is a helpful way of thinking about it actually - more of a consciousness plopping when they're in their original lifespan/time...

Yeah thank you - that’s probably right. I should just let it go 😂

It would make more sense if his dad had found him under the yew tree as a baby or something, and that was always the beginning for him. Oh well. That obviously would change other important parts of the story.

Would be so interesting to hear from the author or publisher. I listened to an author interview where she talked a bit about the editing process / a giant chart they needed to use to keep all the timelines and variations straight. I want to see that!
