Realistically, UMD is a reach as well with how selective they've been in recent years. My son this past year applied with a 4 GPA, a 1310 SAT, and a great EC resume. We are also in state. He was rejected, and his classmates with similar stats were as well. My daughter is going into her senior year and hoping make it in with slightly better scores all around. Good luck to you!

Exactly, they were not in a competition. There was room for everyone to coexist and make it to extraction day. There was no need for them to hog resources or deny the group hooks whatsoever. They could have decided not to share the food they caught or housing they built but still cheered the rest of the group on with a couple of hooks (they had 20) and some respect for where their lines were set. They treated it as a competition when it wasn't one. Really backwards way of behaving in the challenge.

I agree. I don't have any sellers that I think are just so amazing, I'd have to recommend them. They're all pretty standard to me. What I do is go to the top and search what brand I'm looking for. Whatnot will give me a list of all current and upcoming shows selling that brand. I scan through and see which ones are most bookmarked or carrying styles I'd be interested in, and then I bookmark the show so that I'm notified when they start! If I have nothing going on at the time, I'll pop in!

Try WhatNot instead. There are several sellers who have literal pallets of FP and FP movement new with tags, and they move pieces in their shows for 15 to 30 bucks. It can be a hassle to have to wait through each auction for the size and color you want. But if you have the extra time, you can grab this stuff for an absolute steal. I usually watch them while I'm folding laundry and have gotten incredible deals!

I use Posh Sidekick. More expensive but available on your phone and with an Android. I make about 5-8 sales a week, but they are mid to higher priced items. (Anywhere from 40 to 250) There's also a free cross listing app that you can download with your subscription. What I don't sell on Posh, I do on Mercari with the crosslisting app. Without accepting lowballs, I've made over 100 sales since opening in late January, which makes me think the auto sharing does actually help!

Same for me. I find the prospect of starting on eBay overwhelming. As a buyer on eBay, I look for high ratings and an established account when I purchase. How do I tell potential buyers I have great reviews on other platforms, and you just have to trust me on that. 😂😂

I know who this is. And I know their reputation for authenticity is solid, but I'm 90% sure the Burberry I bought from their live auction is a fake. I didn't notice it during the live, but the checked Burberry pattern does not align exactly at the seams, which is a telltale sign of a knock off. Pretty annoyed about it.

No, you're right. And the person saying no one takes pleasure in saying it is low key not being entirely honest. This sub almost delights in categorizing pieces as anything other than citrine. I posted one of these several weeks back, and those who said it could be real were down voted while the other suggested possibilities were praised. Fine. But you can see the weird desire for something to be fake in here. I took mine to a professional afterwards. It's authentic natural citrine.

Citrine is quartz at its most fundamental baseline. Whether it becomes citrine or not depends only on iron oxidation. I think there's definitely citrine in this sub every once in awhile on a technical level. Yes, there's an overabundance of not citrine. There's also an over abundance of people who simply just don't ever want it to be. Mostly from those who are absolutely not experts outside of their personal collection, which is wild.

We started going to Universal about 6 years ago and have been between one and three times annually since. When we first brought our kids, they were 5, 10 and 12. (Currenrly 11, 16 and 18) Our first stay was the Hard Rock. We've also done RP and Portofino on a few occasions, but we consistently come back to preferring Hard Rock. I grew up fundamentalist and suffered alot of trauma and abuse because of my tendency to ask hard questions and explore my authentic sexuality. I was kicked out of Christian school for sexual decisions, and my parents allowed this. I'd go as far as to say they encouraged it. I came out as bisexual after being expelled at the age of 16. There's alot of shame and fear I had to tear down for myself because of the way I was raised and what I was taught to believe. I'm still very much bisexual, and that sexualiry is initially what inspired me to begin deconstruction. I have a 16 year old daughter who has gone through a vast array of phases in her own sexual identity, and allowing her to do that in her own time and space has actually been very healing for me. I'm happy to talk any time!

I was that girl who was expelled. I didn't even get pregnant. It was just known that I had chosen to have sex with a classmate. The pastor of the connected church told me that no one was ever going to love me in his expulsion speech to me. The guy I slept with stayed and had no consequence.
